Untrue

Stop believing Marco Rubio....

The quote you are using has never been proven to be real and there is no context behind it.

As for this quote -- "We're going to do for blacks exactly what blacks did for the revolution. By which I mean: nothing" -- some sources on the Internet claim it is from a 1959 speech or press conference, but we were unable to find an original source or context for the quote.

Sawyer wrote in his blog that "Ch is referring to the concept that he saw blacks as participating in the revolution not as blacks but as patriots. That is, the Revolution would be universal and color blind." (Sawyer told PolitiFact that he was uncertain of the source of that Guevara quote.)

Without an original source for context, we can’t independently verify this interpretation.
At least a couple of our experts pointed to a famous speech Guevara made at the University of Santa Clara in 1959 in which he called for greater representation in all parts of Cuban society.

At workers rallies around that time, Guevara and Raul Castro talked about the need to "advance the revolution’s anti-discrimination program," wrote Alejandro de la Fuente, a University of Pittsburgh history professor in his book A Nation for All: Race, Inequality and Politics in 20th Century Cuba. In the speech at Santa Clara, Guevara called for the university to "paint itself with black, paint itself with mulatto" students and teachers, Fuente wrote.

In 1964, Guevara spoke before the United Nations and criticized "racist" intervention by the west in the Congo, Anderson wrote in his book.
"Blacks did do plenty for the revolution," said University of Texas Latin American history professor Jonathan Brown who has read declassified CIA reports on Guevara’s speeches in the early 1960s.

Brown said Guevara had Afro Cuban troops who followed him into battle and stayed in his army after the victory. Guevara also had Afro Cuban bodyguards and other advisers, he said.

Brown noted this even though he is not a fan of Guevara. "His books and influences led a lot of young men to an early grave throughout Latin America," Brown told PolitiFact.
."While there is evidence to support the claim that Ch made such statements, or harbored them in his mind as a young man, his role in the revolution was one where he openly espoused anti-racist, egalitarian ideals," Benjamin-Alvarado told PolitiFact in an email.
Rubio’s comments gave the impression that Guevara wrote much more about the superiority of white Europeans over blacks than he did. And later in his life, Guevara made comments supporting racial equality.

True revolutionary. I wore shirts with his face on them for years before actually understanding what dude stood for. A real "for the people" leader. Not saying he was perfect by any stretch, but a real life rebel.

A huge part of why he was a*sassinated was due to advocation of non-Western parties to participate in nuclear proliferation and use as a deterrent

He was subsequently sold out while in South America because so many people disagreed
Thanks for that.

But, it sounds to me like he didn't necessarily "advocate" for nuclear war, as much as he wanted his country to be able to have the same capability as the big boys.

I'll have to do a few days of researching this, but thanks for engaging.

Legend. Power to the people.

Half the negative sh*t out there about Che is western propaganda, at least.

If they have to tell lies on you, then you know what you were doing was actually beneficial to the people who actually need help.

Yeah man, there was a local guy from the area that had a bunch of different hand painted ones but this one stood out. He somehow painted it that the beard hairs are not flat but off the canvas a bit. Not sure the proper term since I'm not a painter though
"Textured"

If I'm not mistaken.

But I wasn't an art major.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm asking a serious question.

Educate me on this because I've NEVER a*sociated him with nuclear war.

I NEVER said "no knowledge"

I said that I wore it before delving deeper.

Are you challenged? Seriously.

Of course I knew who he was, wtf are you even talking about? How would I have even obtained clothing like that in southeastern united states without knowing where to get it?

Knowing who a person is, and knowing everything about them are two completely different things.

*case in point*- I KNOW that you're a cuck, but i'm not sure if you let your girl/wife sleep with fat dudes or skinny dudes....................

These are the facts. Latin American revolutionaries are an effect, not a cause. Their detractors ignore the part of Western multinational corporations in monopolizing the resources of these developing nations BEFORE they came into power. I'm not absolving any of them of guilt, because apparently the countries were worse off than they were under American control.

1. As was the case of Cuba, the nation was isolated economically in order to crush any chance they had of success independent of the US. The people would've gotten a few extra bread crumbs had they stayed bent over in front of American imperialists.

2. The dictators were quick to stifle dissent, especially if they considered the opposition to be CIA/American operatives seeking to undermine them.

The United fruit company was bribing politicians and putting out hits in Guatemala to maintain control over the nation's produce. They even participated in the bay of pigs in Cuba:

United Fruit had dominated business and politics in Central America. It was the first truly multinational modern corporation, spreading the spirit of liberal capitalism. As well as harvesting the region’s fruit, however, the company wielded formidable influence over small nations, which were often ruled by corrupt dictatorships. United Fruit gave the world not just bananas, but also ”banana republics”.

It emerged that Black, a devout family man, had bribed the Honduran president, Oswaldo Lopez Arellano, with $1.25m to encourage him to pull out of a banana cartel which opposed United Fruit. The story was about to come out in the US press. United Fruit’s Central American plantations were also struggling with hurricane damage and a new banana disease. Facing disgrace and failure, Black took his own life. His death was shocking, not least because he had the reputation of a highly moral man. Wall Street was outraged, the company’s shares crashed and regulators seized its books to prevent ”its further violation of the law”. The company subsequently disappeared from public view and was seemingly erased from the collective mind.

United Fruit may no longer exist, but its legacy on world affairs endures. Its activities in Cuba, where it was seen as a symbol of US imperialism, were significant in the rise of Fidel Castro and the Cuban revolution of the late 1950s. Its participation in the Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba in 1961, in a vain attempt to overthrow Castro, led to the Cuban missile crisis.

my wife hates him and shes Cuban.
When I was in Cuba I met a few people with different opinions. Some loved him and some hated him.

Some of the older guys I talked to love him because he fought against the system and wanted to free Cuba from foreign control.

Some hated him because they think what he was f*ghting for is what made America and countries turn their back on Cuba and make it go through the embargo.

It depends on the way you look at it. And by looking at how Puerto Rico is today, I think Che was f*ghting for the right side on keeping Cuba free from foreign control.

Premacy' is a sickness, especially for non westerners who are infected with it...like you said, how can you prefer the side that intentionally caused your people to starve any more than the other side?

This is JFK talking admitting that American companies owned more of Cuba than Cuba did and that they were allowing Batista to slaughter Cubans simply because he was willing to play ball with them.

JFK in 1959:

Secondly, in a manner certain to antagonize the Cuban people, we used the influence of our Government to advance the interests of and increase the profits of the private American companies, which dominated the island's economy. At the beginning of 1959 United States companies owned about 40 percent of the Cuban sugar lands - almost all the cattle ranches - 90 percent of the mines and mineral concessions - 80 percent of the utilities - and practically all the oil industry - and supplied two-thirds of Cuba's imports.

Of course our private investment did much to help Cuba. But our action too often have the impression that this country was more interested in taking money from the Cuban people than in helping them build a strong and diversified economy of their own.

The symbol of this shortsighted attitude is now on display in a Havana museum. It is a solid gold telephone presented to Batista by the American-owned Cuban telephone company. It is an expression of gratitude for the excessive telephone rate increase which the Cuban Dictator had granted at the urging of our Government. But visitors to the museum are reminded that America made no expression at all over the other events which occurred on the same day this burdensome rate increase was granted, when forty Cubans lost their lives in an a*sault on Batista's Palace.

The third, and perhaps most disastrous of our failures, was the decision to give stature and support to one of the most bloody and repressive dictatorships in the long history of Latin American repression. Fulgencio Batista murdered 20,000 Cubans in seven years - a greater proportion of the Cuban population than the proportion of Americans who died in both World Wars, and he turned Democratic Cuba into a complete police state - destroying every individual liberty
Devil sh*t.
