ok i like doing the dumbbell press because i don't need a spotter. im not asking anything about bench pressing.

BUT

i want to know the difference between the incline dumbbell chest press and the flat dumbbell chest press?

should you be doing both?

or does the incline just work more of the upper pecs?

id recommend you do both. It'll help you out because your workouts need variety to prevent muscle memory and as you know different angles hit different target muscles groups.

both are nessesary...because without incline ur chest doesnt look full...even tho the chest is one muscle u need the different stimulus to create growth. my suggestion is do both but every two weeks alternate which one you do first

week 1 - incline then flat
week 2 - flat then incline

PS...decline is cool but it fu*ks with my equilibrium so for the lower chest i do cable crossovers and dips

exactly.......switch it up, incline first one week, flat first the next.....I do DB inc press first, then flat DB fly, followed by other exercises but the following week I will do flat DB press first, then inc DB fly and other exercises
