You do know Nas bite from Pac right, plus Pac has touched more people then any rapper who has ever touched a mic, being the greatest is more then lyricaly ablity but if you want to go their. Nas could wow you in 4 bars Pac could do it in two.

Pac is no where near Rakim's level. NO WHERE NEAR him. I'd like to hear a well thought out reason why Pac is better.

And I don't want it to include A) he was a poet or B) He's sold 70 million records or C) the fans could relate to him.

Lyrics - Rakim
Influence - Rakim (Pac would be rhyming like Run DMC if it wasn't for Rakim)

influence has nothing to do with mic skills.

at you comparing tupac to any lyricist let alone the most influencial emcee to ever do it. to compare pac to nas is a joke but rakim? this thread futher shows your ignorance and the ignorance of the youth man. who cant tell the diffrence between a emcee and a rapper.

the simple minded out weight the intellects by light years as far as society so what does that mean? pac was simple as sh*t and easy to understand thats why he touched people you could be a middle school drop out and understand what he was talking bout. you can have a masters from an ivy league school and not sh*t canibus is spittin so whats your point or logic?

Pac didn't have the ability to wow you in 2 bars, of course he had lines that made you step back and think, but he wasn't the emcee Nas was/is. He was a better rapper, not emcee.
