Remember Manning sat out the last game of the season and a lot of 4th quarters so he could have gotten 60.

He is gonna break the record probably...when u have Moss, Stallworth, Welker and a good tight end like Watson u probably gonna pass for a lot of touchdowns...I still think Peyton Manning is the better all around quarterback but Brady is a great QB too and Congrats to him if he breaks the record

it wont be as meaningful... .peyton did it b/c he was going apesh*t in games.... brady is gonna chase it b/c hes got weapons out the a.ss...brady is still not a great deep passer....so i think he wont break it

but if he does break it, im not gonna give a sh*t b/c peytons year was 100x better... and if he doesnt come knocking on the door, he aint sh*t... cuz hes got too many weapons....
peyton did it cuz he had weapons too... F*CK YOU TALKIN BOUT ... you need to give credit where its due... see what happens when a great qb finally has weapons like that... he can put up the SAME numbers

Hes definitely gonna break it, but when you're passing as much as they do its not a big surprise. Today's game for example Maroney was the Pats leading rusher with 18 rushing yards. They have only had 3 games where someone has gone over 100 yards rushing (weeks 3, 4, and 5). All the other weeks they didn't have one guy break 80. Brady's lowest pass yardage game was 231 (week 4). So to me it would be insane if he didn't break the record. Only sitting out or an injury could stop him now.

you're wrong.... having marvin/reggie doesnt give you the abillity to just chuck it up in 2x-3x coverage.... having moss makes an offense just stupid good....

brady will break the record, but i dont think that he is a better qb than peyton, hes playing in an easier system.... and a more complete offense imo

i think its harder to make plays in the colts offense b/c it depends on so much timing..... wheras, brady just needs a good pass/decision... b/c he gets all day in the pocket, and has randy moss that makes rediculous catches regardless if hes open or not
Harrison and Wayne are both pro-bowl receivers who we have all seen make some sick a.ss circus catches. The Colts also have a run game to keep defenses honest. Defenses know Brady is throwing almost all the time. He threw like 35 straight passes in the 2nd half yesterday, and the only run plays were to run out the clock at the end. Also the Colts offensive line is just about as good as the Pats. Manning rarely gets hit. That's why he's never been injured.

i think both moss and brady will break the records next week vs the Jets. belichick cant wait to play mangina and run the score up. both only need 5 TDs to break so theyll just hook up 5 time sin the first half and then brady can start throwing to his other guys. games gonna be redciulous

I think you missed the point. Manning throws it to a spot and has to have faith when he throws it to that spot the receiver will be there. Manning will throw the ball to a spot before the receiver looks back to him and it looks good when it works. Brady chucks that sh*t in triple coverage and Moss will come down with it because he's tall.

On another note, when Manning threw 49 TD's Edge still had 1500 yards rushing. The pats can't run for sh*t. Just wanted to throw that in.

^ good throw in... like it matters....when manning had 49, what was their record? how many INT's did manning have? manning had 10, doubling Bradys so far. teams knew edge could run so they played against run and pass...pats cannot run, so Defenses know brady is gonna pass way more than maroney or whoever will run. Pats had 22 rush yards ysterday. 22

Manning can only do that because he has been playing with those players for so many years... Him Harrison, Wayne and Clark have chemistry which is one of the most important things between a QB and his receivers...

U saw in the Chargers game what happened when he didnt have those receivers who he is familiar with he constantly put the ball to a spot his receiver should have been but wasnt because they werent on the the same page... Brady is doing thisw with a complete new cast of receivers they had training camp to mesh and Brady made it work... Its called chemistry... Any Qb can tell you it takes time to get on the same page and the fact that Brady did it so quickly with only one receiver from last year is amazing...

And the fact that Edge ran so good helped the passing game... When u cant run everyone prepares for your passing game... Like teams no the Pats aint gone run but they still cant stop the pass... U didnt know what the Colts would do... It was like pick your poison they could k!ll u with the rub or the pass... The Pats are one dimensional and are still dominating the league... Even the Rams when they won had a great run game it helps to keep the defense off balanced... So that helped PEyton out... If the Pats had a run game Brady would have over 50 TD's already

Manning wasn't having a record season by week 3 like Brady. Check the stats Manning went off around week 8 and also notice when Manning went off we didn't lose a game till week 17 cause we rested for the playoffs. But it doesn't matter y'all can go 16-0 y'all don't want to see us again in the playoffs.

Good stuff but like I mentioned earlier Manning sat out in some 4th quarters and could have piled it on some teams, but we're not that kind of team. From week 10-13 in '04 that could have been at least 10 more TD's if we like keeping starters in in the 4th.

Wk 10 - Texans 14

Indy 49

Wk 11 - Indy 41

Chi 10

Wk 12 - Indy 41

DET 9

Wk 13 - Indy 51

Tenn 24

If BB was our coach Manning would have thrown 70.

good stat...

brady deserves the record, but manning had alot more class when he did it... he ran the ball, he didnt rout teams when he was up by 40, he didnt try to score when the opponent had given up

case in point, he blew out baltimore last night, still gave addai alot of plays, and left the game early..

when manning broke the record, HE RAN THE BALL STILL... he didnt go the entire game w/o running the ball, imagine what adrian peterson or lt could do if they only threw the ball 9 times a game..
That made no sense... How are the pats opponents giving up with their starters still in??

Giving up is taking your starters out...

And also The Colts couldnt blow anybody out with that sorry defense so u dont know what would have happened... Except wait they did have 3 games in a row where they won 41-9, 49-14, and 51-24 in which Manning was still in til the 4th quarter...

And its funny how McNabb wasnt criticized for not running the ball when the Eagles are 70% pass and 30% run the last few years... But since its Brady its a problem right Maroon??? Not to mention Brady's RB's are only averaging 3.7 ypc and why not keep passing it... I always thought u keep doing what u doing until someone stops u from doing it... The Colts had Edgerring james they were paying sh*tloads of money... They had to give him the ball

Throw on top of that 483 receiving yards, Edge had 2,000 yards from scrimmage while Manning threw 49 TD's. Also Wayne, Stokely, and Harrison had 10 TD's each, now i see why Belichick left the field uncovered for that playoff game against us he couldn't beat us on a nice field. But I digress.

i dont criticize brady for throwing it 90% of the game, but when you're up 60-3, stop going for 4th downs.... PEYTON WASNT THAT GREEDY... when you're up 50 pts, stop throwing it... k!ll the clock...

im just saying recognize that peyton utilized more of his offenses capabilities and still had a monster season...
Man Peyton wasn't that greedy but the fact is that Brady is going to break the record and u gotta give him his props...u ain't gotta say Brady is better than Manning b/c I don't think Brady is better than ManningI give Brady his credit tho he still a great quarterback.
