March 4th - Notre Dame
After skipping the Senior Bowl, Brady Quinn may also choose to skip the combine workouts. This could be a pivotal day for the talented QB.

March 10th - Ohio State
If Ted Ginn Jr skips the 40-yard dash at the combine, all eyes will be on Columbus to see his 40 time.

March 15th - Georgia Tech
Will Calvin Johnson run at the combine? Reports have him running a 4.33 in recent workouts, but he has little to gain by running at the combine and could wait to run at Tech's Pro Day.

Best WR in college football? Jarrett isn't even in Johnson's league. He isn't that fast, and in the NFL he will have trouble getting off the line quick.

Honestly I never saw why people thought Jarrett was an elite WR. Sure he has the advantage when the ball is up in the air but hes never gonna burn anybody deep for a TD. Especially in the NFL.

He would be an idiot not to. He isn't a first round talent so he pretty much has to have a good workout to get picked in the first day

i doubt hes the next mike williams

mike williams sat out for a year and jarett didnt

i think mike williams would be better if he wentto another team cuz the lions r the worst.roy williams is good but imagine roy on a different team.he would k!ll

all jarett needs is to play on a team with a decent qb and he will be straight

Adrian Peterson to Run, Dwayne Jarrett Won't?
• Word is that Oklahoma RB Adrian Peterson may indeed run in Indy and may really impress while Southern Cal WR Dwayne Jarrett will wait for his Pro Day. Ted Ginn, Jr. has previously said he will not workout since he's still recovering from an ankle injury. It's always interesting to see which of the premier prospects opt not to take part but it seems like more and more these days guys are taking advantage of the opportunity, a la Mario Williams and Vernon Davis a year ago.

mike williams is a tight end in a receiver body... 4.56 isnt a receiver 40 time... i actually like jarrett and hope he does well but 4.60 aint gonna cut it... college is different from the pros especially when you come from pete carrolls offensive machine

who really cares about WR 40 times..

Micheal Irvin & Jerry Rice both ran in the 4.6- 4.7's... They didnt have a hardtime gettin away from DBs.

Look at Anquan Boldin, he fell to mid 2nd round cause of his "slow" 40 time..
He hasnt done sh*t in the NFL

Despite the initial concerns of the NFL scouts, Boldin has broken several NFL records. In his rookie year, Boldin became the most prolific rookie receiver in league history with 101 catches and was the only rookie selected for the 2004 Pro Bowl. Boldin also set an NFL record for most receiving yards in his first game (217). He also holds an NFL record for most receptions in the first 26 games of an NFL player (157) as well as being the fastest to record 300 career receptions (47 games).

williams should have never tried to leave early, jarrett is nothin like williams, williams was slow in college, jarrett has no problem runnin by people on the football field

& he wont run a 4.6 when he runs the 40....
