Yeah, but he recommended adding a little more. I think he also put a little glutamine in it as well. I don't remember his explanation, but i'll ask him next time I see him.

Seriously, after working out and when I'm all sweaty and thirsty, a nice bottle of Propel tastes so good. I like it because it tastes better than Gatorade and it has less calories and sh*t. I'm also liking that new water stuff by the company who makes SmartWater and VitaminWater, it's called Fruit Water. It's kind of bland, but it's got a third less of the calories that VitaminWater has.

why would you throw salt in ure game ...

seriously tho salt dehydrates you which is why if your stranded in a sea and your thirsty drinking sea water will only make it worse because your body tries uses all available water in an attempt to flush it outa your system.


I guess maybe if its a little but anyone knows wut it does?

I don't want to get in a big debate, but your body needs salt and you lose a bit when you sweat a lot. The drink rehydrates and the pinch of salt helps replenish salt levels as well. Not like drinking salt water at all since it's not that much salt.

I just drink as much water as i can when i work out; like 2 quarts. If i water down gatoraide I think thats too many calories still. I used to do that, i don't know, point is drink alot i guess

Co-signed , Has a great flavored taste to it no matter which flavor you get and it only has 4g of sugar , I believe gatorade is over 20 and vitamin water is about 16 . It also has a great a.ssortment of vitamins , especially B vitamins which really keep you goin .

Deff the best choice

vitamin water is good if you're hung over and you've pissed out all of your vitamins the night before....however if you're working out, you need an isotonic solution (which is a solution with the same amount of salt that your body and blood contain)...gatorade being an example.

both will work fine, in fact any hydration is good when you're sweating, though you do need a certain amount of salt/electrolytes.
