mike james is just a broke a.ss vinnie johnson. but even that is better than a former and 1 mix-tape player who bricks threes, play no defense, and misses contested lay-ups off the side of the rim, that every other starting nba point guard would easily hit.

i agree...ok he's offesnsively challenged..he doesn't know how to shoot a ball...ok...but there is nothing defensively he doesn't do...he puts his body on the line every game for our team...he rebounds, defends, takes charges, he's an energy player and motivates his team with defensive plays. I aint sayin he should start, but im saying he would a great backup, yea i said it, a great backup. When you have a player with offfensive capabilities of mcgrady and yao on the floor, u can have atleast 1 guy in their strictly for energy and defensive. Just because a player isn't a great offensive player, it doesn't mean he doesn't have a positive overall impact on the game.

i agree. huck hayes is good defensivesly. if he was 6'8,6'9, or a sevon footer, he would lead the league in rebounds. i just dont like him starting because of his size, and he gets outrebounded all the time.:thumbsdow

hell no. not if varejeao does an unexpected spin move only to air ball an easy lay-up in the play-offs, like he did in the nba finals.

rockets should just sign glen davis, and maybe sign chuck hayes, and call it a day at power forward.

that n*gga williams? the dude that got busted for weed? rockets can prolly get him in the second round. he can be our new vernon maxwell.

rockets are talking about getting big baby though. glen davis could be a good role player if he just stays in shape. he can play power forward and center. his stock is just low as fu*k because he played for a sh*tty a.ss lsu team. only other player big baby could pass the ball 2 was tack minor.

williams is nasty.....bonzi is gonn be vernon maxwell this year..williams wil be it afterwards...but williams is taller and more atheltic than baby...plus i dnot trust baby to stay in shape .....but who knows...we need both so we cna use chuck hayes as trade bait in one or two years....someone will want him...

daryl morey is an idiot. rockets have a history of drafting sh*tty players unless they get a top draft pick. morey is reminding me of isiah thomas. rockets need a power forward, and a back up center, but instead they get another point guard. and whats up with the rocket's infatuation with drafting undersized power forwards??? carl landry is prolly just another chuck hayes with offense. rockets better does something with trades and free agency later on in the summer. daryl morey is showing us why he is no longer in boston right about now.:thumbsdow

HOUSTON -- The Houston Rockets want Rashard Lewis to come back home.

Rockets general manager Daryl Morey said Saturday night that the club is "going after Rashard," the SuperSonics forward who attended high school in suburban Houston and is considered one of the NBA's most attractive free agents this summer.

"We really want him," Morey told Houston television station KRIV-TV. "We think he would be a significant player for us. Rashard would have to be motivated to come."

Lewis, who turns 28 in August, left $21 million behind by opting out of the final two years of his Seattle contract. The Sonics are the only team that can offer Lewis a six-year contract and the maximum salary allowed under the league's salary cap.

Morey told KRIV that in order for Lewis to land in Houston, "it has to be through a sign and trade."

Lewis, who has spent all nine of his NBA seasons in Seattle, averaged 22.4 points and 6.6 rebounds last season.
