In search of some normalcy, center Eddy Curry has re-joined the Knicks and is working on his conditioning and rehabilitating his sore right knee.

"I'm OK," Curry said Tuesday in his first public comments since the murder of his ex-girlfriend in Chicago.

"Honestly, I really don't want to talk about anything other than basketball, than me getting back on the court, because I feel like there's been enough circulating about Eddy Curry, about my life and all that stuff, other than basketball."

last nights loss was as rediculous as they come....

but if you couldnt tell it was gunna be a JOKE OF A GAME after Harrington hit his first shot and threw his hands up at the crowd, then you're a bigger joke than this team right now.

how are you people gunna give AL HARRINGTON a PASS night in and night out? with his selfish play, no defense, no ball movement and simply CHUCKING up shot after shot.

yet...

u bash D-Lee in every post talkin about his DEFENSE...

it boggles my mind.

the guy doesnt call for the rock, he simply plays within the flow of the game. hes EFFICIENT!!! granted we know his weakness is strength and D...but C'MON!!! at least he makes the effort EVERY NIGHT

i dont think ive HATED being a knick fan more NOW (while i have no expectations while we rebuild) than even in the isiah era.....not becuase im frustrated and hating on my team...i simply cant stand SOME / most (lol) Knicks fans

we lose waaaaay to many close games... if we held on to all... nah, just HALF of our close games, we'd be above .500 and at 5TH PLACE.... fact

Yo guys stop the fu*kin Pipe Dreams. WE AINT GETTING LEBRON so stop basing all our future on that sh*t cause it aint happening. And BX_bombers we aint gonna shed the whole team in two damn weeks, pray for Lebron and Thabeet. You are King of making up the pipe dreams. YO heart in the right place but yo scenarios are RIDICULOUS. We need to trade Al Harrington for a shot blocker. Maybe some one else like Q-rich and Malik for a Defensive specialist. This way i feel we can keep or great offense but stop some scoring on the other end. To score in the 120's and still lose is crazy we just need some D to stop the opposing team. Zach Randolph has been averaging 22.8 points since New York traded him to the Los Angeles Clippers back in November, and according to the New York Post he believes that the Knicks made a mistake by dealing him.

"I'm a pretty good player," Randolph said before his Clippers scored a 128-124 overtime victory over the Knicks. "Ain't nobody in the league can guard me. I thought we were rolling, playing good, had the best start in a long time. We had a good team. I'm not going to start anything. It's what they wanted to do. I don't know why, but I guess they have plans. They say they have plans."

Donnie Walsh and Glen Grunwald were watching intently as Golden State's Anthony Randolph went through his pregame drills early Tuesday in Oakland. Hours later, Walsh was huddling with Bill Duffy, Randolph's soon-to-be agent. What happened in between watching Randolph and talking to Duffy was both alarming and eye-opening to the Knicks president and his top lieutenant; the Knicks surrendered an NBA season-high 144 points to the Warriors and lost their fifth straight game. Randolph, the highly sought-after rookie forward finished with 12 points and seven rebounds in 14 minutes. Walsh is committed to giving the franchise salary-cap flexibility for the free agent class of 2010. But he's also committed to trying to reach the playoffs this season while building a team that would be attractive to future free agents LeBron James, Dwyane Wade or Chris Bosh. With the trading deadline set for next Thursday, Walsh has only a few more days to upgrade the roster. Stephon Marbury's expiring contract could be an important trading chip. With David Lee and Nate Robinson both set to become restricted free agents in July, Walsh may look to trade one of his youngest players. -- NY Daily News

Eric Gordon, who was selected by the Clippers right after Gallinari with the seventh overall pick, has emerged as one of the best rookies in the NBA. Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni admitted that Gordon, the former Indiana standout was "high on our list." It is unquestionably a decision that will be second-guessed, at least until Gallinari starts to show more of his potential. -- Newsday

Clippers GM/coach Mike Dunleavy last night said the Mobley situation "shocked me" when it was revealed that he had a severe heart condition that forced him to retire.

The Knicks could have rejected the trade, but waived the physical, which Dunleavy said, "tells you what kind of believer they are in 2010." Donnie Walsh made the trade to move Zach Randolph's $17.3 million off the salary cap in 2010-11

Anthony Randolph is a player the Knicks like, but there is no guarantee that the Warriors will trade the first-year forward. Randolph's name has already been mentioned in trade talks with the Phoenix Suns for Amare Stoudemire and with Toronto for Chris Bosh.

Donnie Walsh was seen chatting with Bill Duffy, Randolph's new agent on Tuesday in Oakland.

Knicks' top brass Donnie Walsh and Glen Grunwald were out early in Oakland watching Warrior rookie Anthony Randolph go through his pre-game workout, and according to the New York Daily News, Walsh was later seen talking to Randolph's agent, Bill Duffy.

New York is one of the many teams trying to pry the talented forward away from Oakland, but it is not known whether the Warriors will give up on Randolph so soon.

Randolph's name has already been mentioned in trade talks with the Phoenix Suns for Amare Stoudemire and with Toronto for Bosh.

FYI...the economy is so bad that teams might move people just for financial reasons which is something a big market team like the Knicks can use to their advantage....wouldn't be shocked if nobodies on our teams like Rose, James expiring contract can be used for a big name with like a 14ish 2 year contract

another rediculous loss once al hung on the rim i knew it was a wrap

i think its pretty obvious the knicks arent gunna make the playoffs...

but nate and chandler were nasty starting in the backcourt

easily the best game of nates career 33pts 15ats 9rebs and 5 stls:applause:

the reason they wont make the playoffs is because the defense is miserable its not just lee... harrington is like a finesse SF were playing at center and the backup is a SF jeffries... u see baron davis lock down harrington, hes 6'3"...

at least the offense is decent this year

in collegebb i watch wake forest memphis and uconn all 3 of those teams play better defense then the knicks

The Knicks have enough headaches as they enter the All-Star break on a six-game losing streak. The one they could have easily nipped in the bud - Stephon Marbury - still festers. In 11 days, Marbury and Knicks brass will legally dispute the $400,000 fine he was tagged with for allegedly "refusing" to play vs. the Pistons on Thanksgiving Eve, according to a league source. The Post has learned a hearing has been arranged in New York on Feb. 24 that may require Mike D'Antoni to miss a Knicks practice to testify against Marbury, who was banned from the team after being docked $400,000 in pay. -- NY Post

just got home so some ppl who search for news might have gotten their hands on this one but neway...

Stephon Marbury and the Knicks will reportedly meet to discuss the $400,000 fine the point guard received for allegedly "refusing" to play in November.

The New York Post has learned that a hearing has been arranged for Feb. 24 that may require coach Mike D'Antoni to miss a team practice in order to testify against Marbury, who was banned from the team after the incident.

Marbury has offered to drop his appeal of the $400,000 fine if the teams accepts his $1 million giveback, but president Donnie Walsh has not budged, wary of him joining the another team.
