CHAMP IS A BETTER CORNER

According to both Sanders and Bailey's Stat Cards on SI.Com

in 15 seasons Deion Sanders has (511 total tackles) 419 solo Tackles 123 Pass Deflections 53 INTs

in 8 seasons Champ Bailey has (560 total tackles) 507 solo Tackles 138 Pass Deflections 39 INTs

7 Seasons behind, Champ already has more Pass Deflections, More Tackles, and only 14 picks less than "primetime".

Can't argue with the facts.

yeah ill post it again, stop bein so blind

Deion had it good witht he rules back than now you can't even put your hand on the WR without them calling PI, not only that WRs are coming out of college now not only faster but alot stronger so you need to be able to tackle, and same with running backs, Champ makes alot of tackles that save it from being a long drive he shuts people down on third down, not only in the pass game but the run game.

Champ > Primetime :applause:
Don't forget Deion also played offense and defense for a few seasons and returned kickoffs and punts as well. All the while shutting down the other teams best WR

Champ coulda did that too he was a fine WR in college and he could return kicks damn well but hes not worth the risk of getting hurt because without champ the broncos are fu*ked.

Hes expressed he does wanna play offense but they don't wanna risk it.

Troy Brown Played offense and defense and returned punts for the Patriots. What does that have to do with being good at his position?

Deion is better as of now. If Champ keeps playing like hes playing, he'll be the best in about 2 or 3 years. Especially if he passes Deion in ints, because hes already beating him in a few categories as it is now. On top of that Bailey is hands down the best CB playing right now and has been for years, so he has the respect of the players as the best and he has the stats.

Deion missed alot of tackles but really never needed to recievers couldnt catch the ball with him on them and QB's rarely, i mean rarely threw it to his side even if it was 3 recievers wide.

Read what I wrote again, I said he would do all those things while still playing every snap on defense, I would love to see Champ try and do it cause he has the skills to do it. But Deion started on offense and defense while returning punts and kicks and shutting down the other teams best reciever

Its not about just tackling a WR its about tackling the player with the ball.

Same thing happens with Champ, most of his tackles are on guys hes not covering, its the running back most of the time too. He plays a big part in stopping the run, because he said he would get bored other wise cause no one ever really throws it to his side.

I love Champ and he is one of my favorite players but HE will tell you that Deion is/was better than him and that Deion was his idol. Nuff said. I would give Ronnie Lott a close second. He did used to play corner you know and he was really good. Rod Woodson 3rd.

Once again, Cornerbacks are played to Cover not tackle, that is what linebackers and Strong Safeties are for. He shut down half the field on passing downs. Him not being a strong tackler never hurt his team. But there have been weak cover guys that have fu*ked teams over countless weeks. That tackling corner sh*t is beyond overrated. Yes it's cool but if you have your corner making mad tackles, then something is wrong with your front 7.

I gotta go with Deion right now just slightly ahead of Champ. It's really really close though. When Champ passes Deion in INTs it'll be the other way around.
