I'm a real hip hop fan. fu*k you fan boys that make that excuse for when an album is not up to par. No one is saying that he can't rap. IT'S JUST BORING AS HELL. sh*t we all like nas, but if I wanted a lecture, I would have went to class today. Rap has changed. Now you need beats to get people to pay attention. Otherwise you are just talking. And that AINT rap.

Exactly what i'm saying, Nas is great no doult but this album won't be in rotation and Nas will be all angry when hes doing it to himself...

From that standpoint, I think Jay, Joey and Game beat him...

Numbers don't lie...

Ain't no awards comming from this effort, street cred my a.ss yo, streets ain't supporting you anyways, theres not even one anthem on this sh*t...

His Video is trash when evryone else is shining, WTF, if you don't agree with the new formula, just retire cause this album is so 90's right now, Nas is stuck in the past... n*ggas won't even be bumping this sh*t next week...

Joey's album was a.ss

Streets have always supported Nas, that is why he always goes plat.

Why should he make a "formula" album and confirm to commerical appeal? Why can he do music that HE wants to do. If he doesn't want Champangne popping diamond blinging, eye candy hoes in his videos then that's his business.

Plenty of people will be bumpin this joint

Whoa homey, don't read my message wrong, I never said to turn comercial....

And secondly stop using terms losely, Comercial is what ever people want to ear, if you're song is good and on TV and Radio all day means you made it comercial? I think not, "If I ruled the world" was not comercial but it turned out to be one of his greatest tracks in turms of airplay....

"Big Pimpin" by Jay was not comercial but it still gets play in the club... B real man, I never said to bling out, thats not Esco but he still can make a banger and give us a Video from the Bridge like "they shootin, Made you look"

Anyway, as per the track listing on Amazon, I don't thingk that this leak is retail, "Where Y'all at" is too much of a banger to not be on the final product....

I gave it a 4 only because It isn't on stillmatics level and that is a 5. Nas has set the bar so high that it is hard to match. This is way better than Hov's sh*t just like I knew it would be. Hopefully this will bring back real hip hop.

fu*k snap music

Nah dude, it's the other way around, Nas is trying to hard to be relevent by overstating what is real, to much is like not enouth, Nas is trying to hard to prouve hes real...

All I'm saying is Nas has not evolved... Like Jay, we know hes real, but he also evolved... I just can't feel the evolution of Nas, I feel like hes still rapping for the critics instead of moving forward

Rapping for which critics?

This album only proves a point that The Hip hop game is on a heavy decline.
it not like He set a standard with illmatic or sumthin of that nature but that Albums of today should be following that route.

How the hell is a hip hop album gonna fall under a pop category in an award show.

Wat Nas is trying to do with this album is to prevent that from happening.
Hip hop gotta have its distinction and its commercialization that makin it have similarity with other genres.

Now you talkin about evolution. This album is an evolution itself cuz with wats happening in the industry right now, it is easy to be commercially influenced and decide to put trash but Nas withstood that.
