Yeah if you have the Weights on your chest you will have the most resistance possible. but I imagine putting them anywhere on your upper body will cause added resistance

crunches get you lean...using weights get it to stick out...and i do sit-ups to maintain the looks...and of course its necessary to work out even if you look muscular otherwise you will just lose it...

Yall pretty boys need to stop working out just to get the look, you'd be much better off working out to attain strength... which I thought was the primary purpose..

So yes workout even if your abs are showing, till they can withstand an deepcut from some crazy nikka or bi*ch on the street.

well if youre doing it for show, do what you want. but if you play sports like football or box where you get hit a lot in your abs, you gotta work at it no matter if it shows or not

Weights as mentioned add resistence, ideal locations to place the weights is behind your head or on your chest. Whether you'll get a stronger ab or not, it depends on whether you did it correctly or not. Whether or not it will show, it depends on how much fat you still have in that region. Essentially, i feel that weights will help you develop it and cardio will help you show it, this statement is to a certain extent of course.
