All im saying is when Johnson faces Miami he will face the same thing Tim Brown faced.. Same thing Boldin n Fitz faced.. Gettin shut tha fu*k down
Given how Louisville shredded Miami, how can you feel so confident in that?

My biggest complaint with you previous post is this.

You mention that Jarrett is a bigger red zone thread, but why? Because of that one inch? Honestly, I dont think that is really big enough to even mention. They are both HUGE red zone threats.

I think the disparity in speed is fairly evident. Do I think CJ runs a legit 4.4. Not in a million years. I do however think he runs a legit 4.5 and Jarrett more in the 4.6's........much more signifigant, IMO, than that one inch considering how tall they both are.

Throw in the injuries and that fact that I cannot recall DJ being called upon to carry his team like CJ and that is why I feel the way I do.

We'll see soon enough because both them n*ggas are leaving early.
Its not the one inch but that helps ive just seen Jarrett be a real effective offensive weapon in the redzone. I dont see alot of Johnson but I see him burning bum a.ss DB's for 40 yard bombs sh*ttin on wack a.ss secondarys.. Plus id say Jarrett has better hands. I know I might catch heat for this but he has made just as many crazy catches, jump balls.. I know Johson is the flavor of the week and thats fine. But im just gonna go with ive seen work for years. But we will see soon enough cause there both gone

Because we get up for players like him, we always have always will be. We will take it as challenge.. And I think by that game our team will be much better since were young in secondary outside of Merriweather.. But I could be wrong its not like I cany tell the future

Nope I never said I didnt like him id rather Jarrett. You can say im a homer but I never make crazy outlandish statments out Miami players. I hate OSU but I resecpt there players ive said numerous times that Pittman is the most underrted player.

u have to go back to hs recruitin sites to find a neutral source & they say jarrett is faster....
There was a whole lot more said in that post that you have failed to address.....

The recruiting services are quite flawed, unless you have some senior nike camp times..and even those are from a couple of years ago. If you have watched both play it's fairly obvious who is faster. But we can debate that later, let's get to the rest of that post.

You should watch him more, he is quite a red zone threat. A threat that gets doubled quite a bit more than DJ does.

If you couldn't get up to play a Top 15 Louisville, you'll have a hard time convincing me they'll get up for a player. As a matter of fact, if that is the case, that is sad.

Listen any 40 time not from the NFL combine is gonna be flawed.. There all done by hand time which is always off.. Unless its the laser line thing they use its gonna be wrong. Theres a reason that VT site said D-Hall ran a 4.2 but in the combine he could never touch that. People lie or they fu*k up. Combine numbers are the most bullsh*t thing outside of the NFL

Correct. With that said, it's farily obvious who is faster. Is he worlds faster, not by any stretch, but again, it's pretty easy to see.

this i completely agree with

but to say jarett has better hands is not crazy... but

questionable if you have seen him play week by week

and even if its not a 4.4, if its 4.5

its faster than jarett

@ u actin like he hasnt been goin thru sh*t all year

& i could give a fu*k what mel kiper says, that dude's opinion is not gospel

like i said before, there isnt anythin johnson can do that jarrett cant....

I see Jarrett alot since one of my close friends goes to USC.. I see GT when Miami plays them or BC or when there on espn. Johnson makes some crazy catches but that doesnt mean he has better hands.. Johnson I think has a step on Jarrett which is alot but like I said intill I see the numbers and what not. Like Luda said we will see soon enough

no disrespect, but im sure mel kippers opinion is more valid than anyone elses on this site

hes definitly not god, and can be wrong

but id say hes got more insight and experience into making the comparisons

its what he does for a living

and when you consider the heisman race tells the same story...

and the draft boards of NFL scouts and head coaches....

it becomes your opinion VS the experts and proffesional

Yes, there apparently is.....

Not be out all year. Not get caught up in NCAA violations and things. Not "go thru sh*t all year." Not be as high on Mel Kipers list.

Also, there are things that Calvin can do that DJ cant.....run faster. Go higher in the draft [at this point]. prove he can be the focal point of a defense and still perform [not saying DJ cant, but he hasn't had to]........

You are acting as if people are putting DJ down, which no one has done, but at this juncture CJ is considered a better pro prospect by damn near everyone that I've talked too, read, or seen a draft board from.......

We've since moved on from that and moved onto keeping a running log of a certain persons mental disorder.

n*ggas like to pull out clips of johnson makin circus catches but that sh*t is meaningless because usc quarterbacks dont throw balls 15 feet in the air behind recievers

johnson is no super speedster & neither is jarrett but they both are big & have deeiptive speed, but people on this board make is seem like johnson runs a 4.1 & has a 70 inch vert....

exactly

you just proved my point

if jarrett had a QB who threw balls like that, i wonder if he makes the catch

hes played with a good QB for most of his career

with johnson, he can make a bad QB look good

like i said before

johnson to jarrett

is raandy moss to marvin harrison

He was a sophmore.

He was the ONLY target on the team. [for example he had 89 of the total 159 passing yards Ga. Tech had that day]

He still averaged 15 yards a catch.

He has one of, if not THE, most inconsistant QB [and NEVER a great throwing QB] in Ball.

Not making excuses because those numbers aren't mindblowing but didn't Miami have the #1 passing D last year?

Edit: ...and Georgia Tech WON against Miami last year.

^^ See bad comparion Drunken

Plus if this was the NFL you can make a case, but teams in college face enough sh*tty teams that a player like Johnson who doesnt have a great team can get just as many or more stats because hes the only option. Were Jarrett was never the one to get thrown to 40 times a game. In the NFL this wouldnt work aka Raiders n Moss but in college you can play North South Central college and sh*tty teams

still

GT plays better teams than USC does, considering that USC>>>>GA Tech

i hate to go to the NFL for a comparison

a reciever like randy, as good as he is, is sh*tty on a bad team

where they play tough teams in the AFC west

and harrison is made out to be a god on the colts

where he racks up against houston and tennesse

^^^ perfect example right here, moss/harrison & jarrett/johnson is not a fair comparison

moss clearly has physical advantages over harrison, how does that compare to jarrett/johnson?
