NCAA DONT GOT sh*t. This is Desperation.
What you mean that's how it works even in the judicial system. One party talked the other didn't so they have to go with who talked because the party who didn't seems to be hiding something. For the players who did talk like Jacorey & Ray Ray they admitted to taking stuff already so the NCAA knows dude ain't lying they just trying to know the depth of it

If the evidence is word of mouth and a n*gga us pleading the 5th by not defending himself he's going to jail brah. Just like if a murder is committed if a dude says Josh did it, they gonna bring Josh in for questioning if Josh says I ain't telling yall sh*t they gonna let Josh go for the moment but if there's no evidence of Josh NOT doing it but two or more ppl saying he did no matter how long a n*gga rap sheet is Josh is gone.

This is what's happening with Miami yall ex players not saying it didn't happen and a couple of players said it did why wouldn't they take the word of the n*ggas they have over the dudes who not saying sh*t?

The former players don't have anything to do with the NCAA anymore so their not obligated to do anything, it's out of the ncaa's jurisdiction.

Basically this is blackmail and extortion. They fu*ked up and showed their hand.

In the wake of numerous former University of Miami football players receiving an ultimatum from the NCAA, an attorney representing several of those players said Wednesday he has contacted the NCAA to challenge its position.

The NCAA has threatened to a.ssume that Nevin Shapiro’s allegations against them are true if they do not agree to be interviewed by the NCAA by the end of the week.

Meanwhile, a prominent Miami attorney not involved in the case said those players potentially would have legal grounds for lawsuits if the NCAA follows through on that threat.

“It would be catastrophic for the NCAA to do something that outrageous,” said Miami attorney Ben Kuehne, a former president of the Miami-Dade County Bar a.ssociation.

The NCAA last week sent a letter to numerous former UM players and their attorneys telling them they have a Friday deadline to speak to the NCAA about Shapiro’s allegations against them, adding: “If we do not hear back from you or your clients by that time, the staff will consider the non-response as your client’s admission of involvement in NCAA violations.”

The letter was signed by Molly Richman, a.ssistant director of the NCAA enforcement. The NCAA’s infractions committee — not the enforcement department — ultimately will decide the University of Miami’s penalty, which might not be handed out until next summer.

Miami attorney Bruce Fleisher, who represents several former UM players who received the letter, said he wrote to the NCAA and made clear that his clients are not admitting to any violations if they don’t respond by the deadline.

I wish their were stats for how much McGee is thrown at vs the other CBs

It's fu*king crazy how often you seem to hear his name getting thrown at, flagged, caught on

Get some pressure from the d-line next season

Overall could be a little better year if Miami can stay in those games against tougher teams

i mean they lost to 3 top teams in K-State, FSU, ND and then UV and UNC who they shoulda beat

Well another season is in the books fellas, unfortunately ours is ending early again. We finally won the Coastal at least.

The good news is we only lose literally a handful of players (Mike James, McGee, Botts, Wieclaw), and those guys are all replaceable, the hardest being Botts. We should have a really really good team next year.

Duke Johnson, hasn't even been through a college off-season program yet..think about that.

Ref's still tryna fu*k us over I see.

CORAL GABLES, Fla. - University of Miami freshman Duke Johnson was named both the ACC Offensive and Overall Rookie of the Year, announced Tuesday by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media a.ssociation (ACSMA).
Johnson is the first Hurricane to win the rookie award following a breakout season in which he broke Clinton Portis' 13-year-old school rushing record for freshmen, ending the season with 947 yards.

"It means a lot being the first in Miami history to win this award it means so much to me and the team because I couldn't do it without my teammates," Johnson said. "And this is just another way to make my mom proud and show how I really appreciate the sacrifices she made for me when I was younger."

On Monday, the freshman speedster was selected to the All-ACC second team as both a running back and specialist. The five-time ACC Rookie of the Week honoree posted one of the best all-around freshman seasons in program history, accumulating 2,070 all-purpose yards (second-most in program history) and 13 touchdowns in 2012.

The Miami, Fla., product also set a Miami single-season record with 892 kick return yards and two touchdowns on 27 tries. He leads the ACC with a 33.04 kick return average - the fourth-best in FBS. His 947 rushing yards are the fourth-most among FBS freshmen, and he is tied as the national leader with 11 all-purpose plays of 50+ yards.

but it's also kinda cute because Darby is our 4th Corner not our starting safety, so there that is i guess

Darby earns conference honor

Miami running back Duke Johnson and Florida State cornerback Ronald Darby have been honored as the best rookies in the Atlantic Coast Conference in 2012 the league announced Tuesday.

Darby beat out Miami's Deon Bush for the honor.
Johnson also was named the overall and offensive rookie of the year following a vote of 46 members of the Atlantic Coast Sports Media a.ssociation while Florida State cornerback Ronald Darby won the defensive rookie of the year.

Johnson became the first Miami player to win the rookie award following a breakout season in which he broke Clinton Portis’ 13-year-old school rushing record for freshmen, ending the year with 947 yards.

He also led the ACC by averaging 33 yards per kickoff return, and his 2,070 all-purpose yards are the most by a Hurricanes freshman and second only to Willis McGahee’s 2,108 in school history.

The Hurricanes finished 7-5, were 5-3 in the league to share the Coastal Division title, but a self-imposed postseason ban sends Georgia Tech to the ACC championship game this weekend in Charlotte.

“It means a lot being the first in Miami history to win this award,” Johnson said. “And it means so much to me and the team because I couldn’t do it without my teammates. And this is just another way to make my mom proud and show how I really appreciate the sacrifices she made for me when I was younger.”

Voting results for the 2012 Atlantic Coast Conference rookie of the year awards, as determined by a vote of 46 members of the Atlantic Coast Sports Media a.ssociation.
