^Y'all got me thinking I could put on more muscle.

My metabolism along with the training I do for my races is ferocious though...I'd have to eat 8-10k calories a day.

My body burns 3800 calories on a rest day. Doing damn near nothing besides watching football and maybe so homework.

I remember this thread a while back too. I start college next month, and I have weight training class. I'm 6'3 190lbs, trying to get some muscle in me. Is muscle or whey drinks good for you?

I've worn a bodybugg in the past and it's a great device...it just didn't give me any kind of benefit, just basically let me know how blazing fast my metabolism was which I already was aware of so I sacked it.

i seen this sh*t on boxden, n ur first pic looked like a skinny me just lol now i have been taking protein shakes and eating 3 big meals a day. I have been just doing it for a month but i am noticing differences, and damn even my girl has mentioned some difference which feels real good :cool-smiley-009:

Man for real to anyone who is an experienced lifter, we need for you to give us a template to work with. I looked up here and didn't really see any routines and that's really what I need to get the ball rolling. A basic 7 day list of what muscle groups and exercises/reps broken down day by day so I can have more purpose when I'm in the gym and not be in there not really knowing what to do. You guys have shown that it can be done, the proofs in the pudding and it serves as motivation for us trying to get our bodies and health right and a routine to go by would serve for me anyways as a great starting point. So if you have ten minutes please come up here and break it down for us, I'm sure many others besides myself could benefit from having a routine to go by.

Since i started football in highschool, i have always been big. i went into my 9th grade year at 5'7 150, and by the end of off season i was 172. I was also a hurdler( going into 9th) but i ended up pulling both of my hamstrings running 40s in football. This made me not able to run hurdles that year( i was undefeated in the 110s for 2 years before this). So i did what i always wanted to do, but was never able to cuz i was the fastest in my school. I ended up becoming a thrower, and becoming the best at discus at my school. Anyways.. last year, i decided i no longer need my football/throwing size, and that i was going to cut down. These pictures are from april- may, I was doing a hardcore cut. My diet was pretty fun. I worked at smoothie king, and since i would open alot.. i wouldnt eat breakfast, i would just open the store, and start downing protien. So constantly threw out the day i was taking in crazy ammounts of protien, id go lift, then eat whenever i was hungry.
