wit the opportunity to draft Leinart, i dont think that N.O. is going to try and seriously persue Brees.....personally i think it is smarter to go after the veteran who has already proven that he can suceed in the NFL rather than gamble on a collegiate player who may or may not pan out in the NFL....but then again, i cant see Drew Brees in a Saints Uniform

the Browns need some help at the LB position if they are tryna make the transition to the 3-4 sucessfully. i would be surprised if they sign Arrington and stick him next to Andre Davis in the middle..

..although it may be a long shot but they could sign peterson as well and have him rush the passer as the strongside linebacker

Kevin Mawae should not leave Buffalo without signing a deal

also, Arizona has a lot of stuff going on:

Edgerrin will be in town and they told him to bring his agent Rosenhaus, Arizona is one of the few teams that has a good relationship with Drew.

Arizona is also interested in CB Will Allen, DB/KR R.W. McQuarters, OL Kyle Kosier, DB Kenny Wright, and OG Milford Brown.

LeCharles Bentley to the Eagles is rumored to be a done deal on Saturday afternoon.

Koren Robinson is being reported to have resigned with Minnesota.

Quarterback Patrick Ramsey remains a Redskin, but reports in New York stated yesterday that a trade between the Redskins and Jets was imminent. The Redskins would receive a fifth-round pick and Ramsey would compete with Chad Pennington for the starting position.

Taylor would probably be brought in to backup the starter, or at most, compete for the starting role.

Koren Robinson resigned with the Vikings

Givens signing to Browns was a false report:

Givens and taken away: The first weird free-agency report of the night came from Cleveland, when the team's Web site reportedly signed Patriots wide receiver David Givens and Ravens punter Dave Zastudil. The only problem was it wasn't true. Givens' agent, Brad Blank, has his client on a 7 a.m. flight to Miami to visit the Dolphins, and he almost didn't send Givens to Cleveland because of the erroneous report. Blank theorized that someone hacked into the Browns' computer, but he emphasized that no deal is done. Givens is scheduled to visit the Browns on Sunday if he doesn't sign with the Dolphins on Saturday.
