Painted will be an exact match to your car color. With powder coat, you can only select a pre-made color but is way more durable than paint.

I hope you aint gon put no cheap rims on the bimmer though.

Throwing on snow tires in about a week for that Colorado winter. New rims and tires set for the summer with coilovers lowering about 1.5 inches. Definitely clearing the headlights and possibly tiniting both head and tail lights.

2005, really didn't do too much internally just a TRD exhaust but it was originally black cherry. Wrapped the car with 3m gloss white and the hood is matte black. Plasti dipped the front lip grill and rims.

Bought 3 cans of black plasti dip for $6 a can and just two hours I did the rims and grill. The hood is matte black wrap vinyl and I spent $90 for it.
Im considering plasti dipping my wheels, they have stains on them from bad cleaning processes in the past (previous owner), they also have light curb rash on two of the wheels. Although this is not noticeable to anyone but me It still bothers me.

Do you have to take your wheels off in order to plasti dip them? I might go the aluminum color but with the unique gold color on my car im curious to see what that vintage gold might look like, opinions? Anyone have the photoshop skills to show me what my car might look like if I plastidipped the wheels gold?

yeah you can take them off or leave them on as stated.........

its better to take them off though...........

better distribution to all angles of the rim, just use note cards on the outter edge of the rim to protect the tire from being sprayed thats all..........

I need wheels so fu*king bad... I can't see myself paying 8k for some fu*king rims at this age.. (31)
You shouldn't have to spend that much. I paid 3K for my used 3 piece 22" wheels including paint and tires. You could get you some brand new Asantis or Forgiatos for a little more than 4k.

I'm in the process of saving for a Monte Carlo SS T-Top. I figure I'll need 15k-ish to get it completely where I want, but hopefully I'll learn some stuff while I'm saving that will give me the speed, rims, paint, sounds, and security that I'm looking for to keep it around 10.

Until then...I'm in my little Magnum...

matte white, with matte black nose, chin, and roof. Thinking about making the hood black as well.
