had to raise it up....suspension problems galore..

just bout Falken 512s..$240 plus the camber control arms $75
need to mount them then put the arms on...then alignment..
ouch...dent in my pockets..

didn't know you were into imports. i drive a 94 300zx twinturbo convertable(a toy with a humble beginning) and 2003 WRX(daily driver). i got some pics of my 3 couple of pages back if you're interested.

thank goodness you didn't go crazy with spoilers and air scoops/ducts

it would be dead on without the tuning, but 3zs get better response with mods, just like supras get better response then both of these with similar mods.

i never really like the 3000GTs. out of the japanese turbo all stars, i think it's the ugliest out of all. to many cut outs, slot, scoops, unnecessary body cladding, where the car looked like a some ricer's wet dream. even in japan, the 3000GTs weren't regarded as anything special.

Yeah, I'll have more pics soon. I got the arms on.....got battle wounds on my hand..

Just sold my old Saturn....coped me the JDM headlight, tailight, amber citylight in headlight, and amber jdm fogs...

Taking the ugly CRV/Pilot/etc Honda emblem off and putting on the Honda Integra JDM red emblems..

System is in the car now...gauges completely wired..

Soon up is a DX cluster, no tach, either Hondasport gauges or EL glow. paint the bezel red to match interior.

currently, the car is in primer black. the front bumper was replaced with the Greddy piece and i've also add the VIS carbon fiber hood. still waiting to be installed are OEM TT rear spoiler(90-93model), JDM tail lights, new weather trims all the way round, new head lights, new fog lights, and JDM black corner markers.

but before we put the new paint on, i am waiting on the new powerplant. it's a built motor from and i should have it within 2-3 weeks. this is the motor i ordered:
i'm not planning to go higher then 650rwhp, so this should be plenty to work with or at least i hope. lol.

after the heart transplant, the new paint will go on. i've just rebuilt the tranny and got the quaife diff last tuesday. i'm hoping to have the 3 on the road in 2 months. i'll up some more pics then.

Nice. Saves you the trouble of torquing that stuff down. The head bolts on my Saturn were like 6-8 inches long.

Decent price, man.. New block and heads...brand new car in actuality..

yeah the price isn't bad at all, and i've dealt with the owner, kyle, before, so i trust his work. he was a big help in the initial conversion to twin turbo from na.

i like your body style of civic the best out of all other civic lines, other then the crxs. after your body style, they've gotten more and more awkward looking. the news ones are ok, by still look a little top heavy. i guess it's to meet the new euro safety standards for pedestrians. you definitely have the last sporty civic model.

Plate...I really wanted an authentic japanese plate...white and green...black/white tokyo/nagasaki is impossible to find....i seen a yellow/black one for sale..

But these are two quick options for me..

don't buy an used motor that was built for running hard. just ride yours till it's dead and rebuild to your specs. that used motor could last another month or another year or more. who knows and why take a chance.

Good point. 192K on it, too.

Rings are shot, burns oil, etc.

Personally, I'd like to get an engine off ebay jdm used...30-40K on them.

d15b is ok, sohc vtec

but yeah, b16s are a waste imo....not too much more powerful than my d16, id rather get a b18

Try these sites for a used motor. stay away from UPFD.com



Be advised, the quality and durability is a huge issue. Since the internals are not checked, you are taking a chance. Also, with jdm market, forcing people to ditch their motore after 60k miles, you can bet your bottom dollar, they will ride it hard.

The first site is where I got started with the twin turbo conversion. I bought a front clip with the tranny and ecu. The motor had 58k on it and it looked clean, but after 28k, I slipped a rod bearing and opt to pick to another used motor. This one lasted for about 1 year. I admit, the second I've k!lled it. Running more boost then what was suggested for stock block, I was asking for a problem. Lol.

Honest though, you should save and have one built. Used engines are better for your pockets but not too secure for my likings.

Japan direct will have some good deals on tranny but not to much on motors. Average to high retail.

One of my boys have a online store for car parts. It's reperformance.com. Mention my name tae, and he will look out for you. Its not a big shop but good for picking up parts for cheap. Let me or him know.
