the article says nothing about acting black...but acting ghetto
You can say a lot without sayin anything. The fact that they were living or trying to live a "black" lifestyle was implied throughout the whole thing. Otherwise, there was no need to mention him trynna be a rapper, or have the quote from his boy talkin he's "white from the suburbs." Also, ghetto is a term used to describe black people. White people don't live in ghettos. They live in trailer parks or low income housing. Media and government bombard the population with subliminal messages like this one all the time, using condescending words to describe minorities and then clean it up for the white folks. They trynna program minorities to feel inferior. To put a wrap on this, jus look how people responding to this article. They think he a hero or inspiration, when he was really jus another sloppy businessman. Police weren't even trynna go after him cause they said weed was nothin. He had one competitor in 2 years. He was spendin cake like it was nothin, but cause he was where he was at, no one noticed. Anywhere else he would've had a one week run an been murked or knocked. The article made him seem like he was naive and he's really just a "good kid." In all honesty, there would never be a story like this about a minority.
