i would move audiobahn out of the entry level category. when i think entry level i think under $200 for a decent model...but whatever...and some of these are entry level as far as spl, but great for SQ

anyways, add kole audio to the stay away list.

i'll budge on profile, its a lil better than "stay away" but only on the higher end profile stuff, Kole Audio added as well.

I did forget about the RFL's only because they were pure a.ss.....added them to the comp catagory as these subs could not play music AT ALL, got decently loud for SPL though. Didnt add the Jackhammer as it is a marketing gimmick used by MTX and is not available for retail sale (not sure if it ever will be, definetly not practical).

I've been out of the audio game for a minute... I have a GS300 and want to add a 12" sub for SQ... Tight, responsive, and definite power... I've always been told IDmax or w7, what would you guys recommend? I don't have an amp yet, so I'm open to suggestions. Wanna spend no more than $2500 for setup...

IDMax's are the sh*t....cant say anything bad about them as this is the sub I used to break a record or two back in 2003. Another comparable sub would be RE's x*x, built along the same lines as the IDMax, it is meant to play music loud while still maintaining accuracy.

Have you ever heard of a brand SPL? Would this be one of those brands to stay away from?
