this was a good album but i think it was prolly his 2nd best albumm behind the Blueprint. i think i might even like volume 1 a lil bit better than reasonable doubt. but it is still a good album that i still listen to. also i think jay has talked it up into it being a classic more than it really is and n*ggas just run with it b/c he said so. because folks didn't start saying it was classic until he kept on hollering it was a classic.

Album is a classic. You know a album hot when you can listen to it 8-10 years later and still be amazed. sh*t dont sound old. I have all jay's album and i listen to one every week.

i don't TOTALLY agree wit wut u sayin...but Vol. 1 is a sleeper to a lot of ppl.

i'm on that same type of sh*t..i know i've had like 9 reasonable doubt cds since 1996 and i never burn that cd
