Putting yourself into the situation of having to hop in front of a camera, scour the net for topics, news, or think of random sh1t for video content damn near every fu#kin day, for years on end seems like hell on earth.

On the flip side though are businesses that have all kinds of people behind them that actually think paying to run video advertisements are a great god damn idea, and that its just what youre supposed to do. Which ultimately creates incentive and aspirations of people wanting to be Youtubers, TikTokers and sh1t to begin with... But when is the last time you seen a video ad that led to you buying their sh1t though?... When is the last time a video ad, and not an in-video sponsor was actually relevant to the video you were watching?... Do you even see video ads to begin with? Because even my grandparents that are in their fu#kin 90s, figured out all on their own how to automatically avoid them.

i'm not sure if you're taking aim at the creators or advertisers, or both. but there are small creators out there that make 500-1000 a day, and businesses that are definitely utilizing the advertising platforms and being profitable.

but just like anything in business, just because you participate doesn't mean you get a trophy. you can have horrible radio ad campaign conversions, a billboard that isn't engaging enough, or any other real world tactics that you can think of that are a waste of money, just like what i think you're insinuating.

but for every person using adblocker, i'm sure there's somebody who is actually buying products off the tik tok shop; and there are people clicking those ads and buying products. my dad and his wife..my sister..my mom..all victims
