I understand what you mean. I should have been more specific. Vietnam has to pay a 20% tariff making there products more expensive for us. Other countries with out deals are paying 10% making there products a little less expensive. I could be wrong, but July 9th all tariffs are supposed to go back up.

If we spend our black dollars on outsiders' products they export to us and they don't buy our black products... we have what we have right now as black ppl idk how ppl don't see that lol. Vietnamese cost units are 30-50% cheaper than America as a whole so it's cheaper to import those goods than manufacture domestically.

That's a good argument for importing goods and services in general. Sure, it's great to get cheap things. This isn't about that though. This convo is about making money from the ppl you spend money with. If you're buying more things from them than they are from you you're not in a positive trade with your partner. It would be different if you didn't have anything to sell and you were mainly an importer like Myanmar. You can look at them as a what is wrong with running at a trade deficit question
