BASH: The president has a reputation as a dealmaker, so why haven't we seen the kind of trade deals he promised in the last 90 days?

BESSENT: He didn't promise this ... many of these countries never even contacted us. pic.twitter.com/cleQeiPXSW
Because they don’t have to do anything except just manipulate trump
He’s a weak minded dipsh1t lmao
“They export more to us than we do to them”…
Is that a problem?
Nope. Quite the opposite actually.
That’s what I thought. our trade-deficit helps to subsidize our quality of life (what’s left of it)…
They might be better off not making a deal and just pay the the 10%.
They don’t pay any percent lol it’s called an import tariff. Whoever imports it pays it and passes it on to us the consumer. You an I pay that. Bro it still baffles me y he at people don’t know how tariffs work
I understand what you mean. I should have been more specific. Vietnam has to pay a 20% tariff making there products more expensive for us. Other countries with out deals are paying 10% making there products a little less expensive. I could be wrong, but July 9th all tariffs are supposed to go back up.

How?
A trade deficit is a good thing when a country (USA) imports cheaper goods/services from another country (Vietnam).
Vietnamese cost units are 30-50% cheaper than America as a whole so it's cheaper to import those goods than manufacture domestically.
