8 1/2 yrs with the post office and it ain for everybody that's for sure. I've seen Cute/attractive women come in thinking its sweet and quit pretty fast also.. As a CCA she was gonna get that work that's for sure. We talking 40-60hrs a week.. Those Park and loops are notorious for making people quit!
What they don't see is how easy it becomes over time, and especially when you make regular.. Then Find you a solid route that's yours that you do everyday. No lie, this could be some of the easiest money you can make out here.. I'm damn near at 30hr currently, and I'm browsing youtube, listening to music, cutting up with the residents, taking it easy with no one breathing down my neck everyday.. Pension, retirement, benefits ect.. She should've shot for a clerk instead of a carrier probably..
That learning curve can be steep for some, and the mental focus you have to have can be a lot.. "Some management/stations" can be hell tho. Everybody's tolerance level is different when it comes to physical labor tho. The more seniority you have only increases the chances you have to get a cake route, and sometimes you get lucky enough to snag something early.
Most people don't stick with it long enough to see how easy the job can be
