I said this sh1t about Drake years ago, and n1ggas called me a hater

Drake uses Atlanta artists for culture clout

He knew if he stands close enough to dudes like 21 Savage, Migos, Future that people would look at him like "Ok well if they fu#k with Drake, I guess we can fu#k with him too"

Drake is a Culture Vulture

Point Blank Period!

This is such a dumb a$s argument.

Can we stop acting like the relationship wasn’t mutually beneficial?

Top ATL artists like 21 savage, future, and Migos arent making songs with just anybody. People act like making this point is some revelation. It is business.

Same with Drake… why would an artist at his level make a song with someone unless he has something to gain?

They was just happy Atlanta got mentioned

The A lightweight fell off, ever since East Coast n1ggas and weirdos absorbed that city momentum.

Im surprised drake haven't went to Houston
And put on a lot of their artist

He could've planted seeds that would help him for times like this.

Them wack Canada rappers have no motion

Drake got all them ties to Houston and Memphis

Drake benefits more

These people already have their own style and fan base.

Drake is jumping on their song, they’re not jumping on a Drake song.

Drake is like a lot of international artists you have to have to legitimize them by putting them next to certain people or regions… Houston Louisiana Atlanta…

Critical thinking… follow me.

So I am the number one selling artist. Many of your fans are also my fans or at least listen to my music occasionally… the opposite is not necessarily true- many of my fans may not be familiar with your music. You give me “street cred” and my feature on your track gives you a single that charts, millions of new listeners, exposure, and a banger for the clubs and concerts. Yet, somehow I benefit more from this?

Glad I didn't come up in this bullsh1t a$s era. Imagine spending months going back and forth, looking up lyrics and posts, for some gay a$s Drake and wackass Kendrick Lamar.

I would've rather listen to a Gorilla Black/Lil Zane beef.

Drake is really B-Rad. The greatest actor Hip Hop has ever seen.

Because a Drake feature hasn’t always equaled success. Many Drake features have been flops. But even if the record flops Drake still gains the support of the lesser known artist’s fans and credibility from being seen with said artist. Also Drake has never given an artist a club banger that didn’t already have club bangers. He’s not known for club bangers that’s why he teams up with those that are. Especially the artists from Atlanta. Atlanta is known for the club.

Said Drake called him outside

Kendrick had to talk tough on a record with 20 other dudes to call out Drake and then have everyone who had a problem with Drake switch up

He has some damn good media training.

Anyone on here who does music needs to take notes.

He can articulate his points well and he follows up on artists he doesn't even listen to because that's the culture.

So many times young street cats have been clueless in interviews.

I remember when JKwon said he didn't know who Raekwon was smh. I was like well his career over. And it ended right after that

Atlanta could never fall off. Atlanta is ingrained in the very fabric of this hip-hop sh1t. Every region has their turn to eat. When the hate don’t work, yall start telling lies…

like a lot of things the truth is somewhere in the middle.

Those ATL artist already do be hot, but that Drake feature makes them Billboard/Mainstream/Pop level hot and gives them chart toppers that they might not have otherwise

But Drake not an all an altruistic n1gga, he just knows how to stand next to the hottest person of the moment. He was passing out them features to Lil Baby, Migos and 2chainz Like hotcakes when they were the flavor of the month, Drake probably not answering no text or sending back no verse now that they’ve fallen off.

Idk that if that’s necessarily bad tho, I mean business is business
