icon May 21 - Trump shares video suggesting his victory will bring 'unified Reich'

 https://www.nbcnews.com/p .. dia-rcna153214

The former president's campaign said the video featuring hypothetical newspaper headlines was "reposted by a staffer" to his Truth Social account while Trump was in court on Monday.

Former President Donald Trump's account shared a video on social media Monday that included reference to a "unified Reich" among possible developments if he were to win re-election in November, drawing criticism from the Biden campaign.

Trump's account posted a 30-second video to his Truth Social platform on Monday afternoon which asks "what happens after Donald Trump wins?" and "what's next for America?"

The background is made up of hypothetical newspaper front pages with headlines including "BORDER IS CLOSED — 15 MILLION ILLEGAL ALIENS DEPORTED" and "ECONOMY BOOMS."

Twice in the clip, slightly blurred text appears beneath the headlines that reads: "Industrial strength significantly increased ... driven by the creation of a unified Reich."

"Reich," meaning realm, kingdom or empire, is often considered to be a reference to the Third Reich regime of n@zi leader Adolf Hitler that emerged in 1930s Germany — and its inclusion in the video was condemned by Democrats.

"America, stop scrolling and pay attention. Donald Trump is not playing games; he is telling America exactly what he intends to do if he regains power: rule as a dictator over a 'unified reich,'" James Singer, spokesman for President Joe Biden's re-election campaign, said in a statement Monday night.

"Parroting 'Mein Kampf' while you warn of a bloodbath if you lose is the type of unhinged behavior you get from a guy who knows that democracy continues to reject his extreme vision of chaos, division, and violence," Singer said.

Trump’s campaign dismissed the allegation and said the former president — who is on trial in New York — was not aware the word appeared in the video.

“This was not a campaign video, it was created by a random account online and reposted by a staffer who clearly did not see the word, while the President was in court," Karoline Leavitt, Trump campaign spokeswoman, said in a statement.

"The real extremist is Joe Biden who has turned his back on Israel and the jewish people by bowing down to radical anti-semites and terrorist sympathizers in his party like Ilhan Omar and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez," she added.

While Hitler did discuss the creation of an enlarged German empire in Mein Kampf, the text from the video shared on Truth Social appears to be taken from the Wikipedia page for World War I.

The site reads: “German industrial strength and production had significantly increased after 1871, driven by the creation of a unified Reich.”

The unification of Germany in 1871 brought together an assortment of German-speaking kingdoms and duchies that were left independent following the collapse of the Holy Roman Empire in 1806.

Another sentence in the video reads: "First World War (often abbreviated as WW1 or WWI) Causes of World War I."

Trump has used 20th-century German historical comparisons to attack his opponents: earlier this month he compared the Biden administration to the "Gestapo, " the secret police force of n@zi Germany.

Late last year Trump said immigrants were "poisoning the blood" of America, echoing parts of Mein Kampf, but he said he was unaware Hitler had used similar language and denied the comments were racist.

this is what all the closet BX conservatives want

the masks been coming off and they'll keep coming off the closer we get

remember this when you see posts complaining about crime and immigrants

remember this when you see moronic, hypocritical chants of "idolatry" supported by their cheerleaders

remember this when you see posts blaming Israel and inflation on Biden

everybody has heard the phrase "follow the money", but what if there's no money to follow?

follow the energy and you'll see what people are really about

Its looking like he's going to win again, its wack. Biden is so fu#king a$s cheeks, he's done some good as president but is so politically inept when it comes to Israel.

He's tanking his chances for Bibi, what makes it worse is you know Bibi knows this makes Biden look horrible, and Bibi knowingly loves Maga, so Biden getting played here is so beyond ret@rded.

Biden literally doing all he can to lose.

Biden is just dealing with things. If you are going to vote against Biden because of his dealings with Israel, your alternative is the person that has literally said he will wipe palestine of the map. But people lately are trying to start a dont vote for biden while the other side is a worse alternative.

Keep believing those polls.
The polls aren't the reason I come to my conclusion.

I don't want Maga to win, I think Biden is just self sabotaging.

My conclusion is coming from whats going on right now and knowing how 2020 was won. 2020 was win because Biden got the important swing states that Trump got over Hillary. Those swing states were marginal wins, like dude winning by like 10k votes n sh1t, the races were so close.

Then I look at youth voter turnout in 2020, and that was the difference maker. Now fast forward to 2023-2024 and the youth is protesting the genocide in Gaza, and they feel betrayed by Biden's continued support of genocide, and its not just support, its unconditional support.

This is why Biden is going to lose, its the head burying in the sand that is going on in the democrats.

And if people want to bash these protesters and blame them for Biden's loss, you're wrong. And honestly more people need to be protesting with these students because they are in the right, just like in the 60s when people protested for civil right, and the 70s against Vietnam, they were on the right side of history.

Its naive to think that Biden's unconditional support for genocide might not be a bridge too far for some voters. Its also naive to pretend Biden won by more than a few hundred thousand votes in key swing states in 2020. And to think he is in the position to give a middle finger to any segment of his base is beyond ret@rded.

Biden's best chance of victory is that 20% still voting against Trump in the primaries is adamant about not voting trump and either flip to Biden or stay home. That's a bad strategy for Biden to hinge his chances on.

This is all my opinion, feel free to disagree or correct me where I'm wrong.

I'm speaking moreso for a segment of the base that brought Biden the whitehouse, I'm trying to be as pragmatic as possible when it comes to this election.

You need to understand the youth who vote more now especially since abortion was overturned, they feel betrayed. They are participating in democracy, and are being told, uphold democracy you get genocide, let democracy fall, you still get genocide.

When I say this, I'm putting myself in the shoes of the young base that narrowly won Biden the whitehouse in swing states. There are legit criticisms here.

There are a lot of moving parts behind the scenes. Biden can't just pull the plug on Israel just as he can't tell bibi what to do. It's fu#ked up what the IDF is doing to Palestine and I hope they reap what they sow. He's definitely walking the tightrope as best as he can.

I don't think he'll lose though

The young base really thinks because they voted Biden it would solve the turmoil in the middle east. Young people need to realize that democracy is a full time job. That even if we got Bernie in we needed to give him a senate and a congress that was democrat.

I hope he doesn't lose, but he's playing with fire.

You can't say he's doing what he can, when last month when we passed Ukraine and Taiwan aid, there was Israel aid. Then last week Biden says he's sending Israel another billion in weapon aid. That moved looked so tonedeaf it literally makes no sense.

This the mentality that pushing them away.

They've been showing up more and more since Bernie rallied the troops nearly 10 years ago already.

Some of the sh1t here is mind-blowingly naďve. Politicians needs to appeal to voters, that's democracy, its not the other way around.

The mentality pushing them away is our obvious hypocrisy when it comes to Israel and Ukraine. For Ukraine we're doing the right thing, but people see Gaza like Ukraine, they are being invaded and genocide committed against them. And people viewing it that way are paying attention.

That's the thing, these people aren't being distracted, they are being informed and being informed is what's causing outrage, its not the outrage pr0n peddled by the media, this is legit outrage.

And again like all the protest in the 60's and 70's, these kids are correct and on the right side of history.

Bernie is even warning Biden about this, Bernie who is the messiah to young people is advising Biden to reverse course because Bernie is politically savy.

Why Trump will win?

I don't agree. I think Biden's unwillingness to rally his base will be the cause of loss. Its all on Biden, Trump has no control over his destiny, Maga has peaked, its not a growing base.

Biden could land the killing blow this election, but he's going to have to grow a pair and stop getting d1ck slapped by Bibi, its making him look so weak on the world stage.

What can Biden do with a republican congress? Politics has no end game. There will never be a day things will be fixed. Its like your body you stop working out it withers. If young people think voting Biden out will make things better in Gaza Well good luck.
