That's your opinion.
True. Just saying it's hard to compare shows that follow a basic sitcom format with shows that progressed past that.

He was the head writer/creator. Seinfeld is great but that humor was 10x more natural/well executed on Curb.

Martin and fresh prince are not as consistently good as curb or Seinfeld though.

Martin and fresh prince are top tier sitcoms for sure, but they still fit comfortably inside the formuliac sitcom mold that Seinfeld broke. They're great for what they are, but they're just not on the same level as comedies like Seinfeld, curb, always sunny in Philadelphia, and arrested development.

Yes and nah.

Sometimes it feels like Larry is trying to recreate the magic of Seinfeld.

As silly and farfetched as the plotlines were on Seinfeld, they felt more organic.

Seinfeld is a classic show because despite almost half the plot points being outdated it still holds up. Like a smart phone would solve most of the nonsense that happened on that show lol

Right, Seinfeld was more relatable. It was about the weird unwritten rules of human interaction we all have experienced in everyday life, and navigating through them while showing those moments when you just have had enough and rail against societal norms. Everyone has experienced that phenomenon is one way or the other.

Curb was similar, but took it a step further to occurences in everyday life you may have thought about calling out in your head, but would never actually do in IRL, because you'd be viewed as a ranting lunatic. It's less relatable, but still funny.

fresh prince was definetely more formulaic.

seinfeld came on and did away with that ďmoral valuesĒ formula and resonated with a broad audience. no wonder why it held the #1 spot for so long

Yeah, thinking about it again, Fresh Prince was definitely more formulaic than Martin, but at the same time I wouldn't say Martin went as far as Seinfeld did in breaking through the structure of the typical sitcom formula.
