I found this interesting because of the coach.

Erin Matson (women’s field hockey coach at UNC) is only 23 years old. She was a played on the team last year (and won a national championship). She was a team captain last year.

↪ She was named the head coach after the previous coach retired after 42 seasons)..

At 23, Matson is the youngest coach, ever, to win a D-I national championship. She’s got to be the first player ever to win a national championship as a player and then win one as a coach in the next season.

I’m curious about what her coaching staff thought when she was hired.
