Don't know these brothers history or story, but it seems like Jay out grew the ones he came up around and if you wasn't adding to his and your growth then he didn't want and parts of what was holding him back.

Jay has always come-off to me like the type of n1gga that pin-points the homies who want to be 'down' so bad that they'll do whatever it takes and exploits their loyalty by keeping them at arms length and giving them just enough to keep them around; Knowing full well that they wont go anywhere because in their eyes he's the "star".
