Jordan Poole really, really needs to be better on defense. He's not the only reason for the Dubs' woes on defense but man, does he stick out on film a ton.

THats actually not what Iggy was saying at all lol. Poole wasn't sabotaging anything. He was flopping too much and using that as an excuse to not play defense. THat is much different than intentionally trying to hurt the team.

It’s really not.

If you fall to try to get a call, knowing that the risk is you aren’t gonna get back on defense, then you are making an unnecessary risk that is constantly hurting your team.

That is tantamount to sabotage. Not sabotaging the team would be knowing they need you on defense and getting back rather than forcing your offense because that’s the only side of the ball you personally care about playing so you can get your numbers up.

Poole got benched at the end of the season bc he made no effort on defense and took unnecessary risks all over the floor because he wanted to shine rather than play the role the team needed him to play to be successful.

That’s some selfish a$s sh1t especially when it has been pointed out to you by your teammates. He basically said fu#k winning. Doing something intentionally that you know will hurt your team is sabotage. How is it not??

I said this before klay came back and got slap to oblivion. Trade klay and keep Poole. Klay can’t play d no more and just shoots bad shots half the time.

He said the opposite. Second leading scorer, doing more than your fair share then they try to son you like you wasn't keeping the brand afloat. He just told that lil n1gga stop folding on defense which most small top scorers tend to do
