For a second straight day, Panthers’ rookie QB Bryce Young will not practice due to his ankle injury. Panthers’ QB Andy Dalton is now tracking to start Sunday at Seattle.

Damn it took Bryce 2 weeks to get hurt after the whole “is he too small to play in the NFL” discussions leading up to the draft.

Every argument made about all 3 QB’s leading up to the draft & after the draft has been spot on so far.

I don’t remember him getting banged up on any 1 play but that’s gotta suck as a fan considering all the draft capital they gave up to get him

Might be a good thing since for some odd reason, even with upgrades and basically the same team. This team got worse.

Nah he is hurt. If he wasn’t this would be a terrible move. You can’t tout your number 1 draft pick at qb like he’s the truth then bench when he struggles. Terrible for his confidence

I think he's hurt, but not that damn hurt to be honest.

I think he could play if he was up to it.

Because of how these new first round contracts are set up you gotta figure out what you got from your QB from day 1, you can’t delay it. He’s struggling right now but if he doesn’t show a ton of improvement through the end of this season, and then builds off of it by showing even more improvement next season then they’re going to cut their losses by Year 3 and get somebody else. Same thing just happened to Zach Wilson.

You either got it or you don’t.

Sitting for a year is not going to do anything but delay the inevitable of a guy who doesn’t have it being exposed for that reality.

Just cause you’re drafted in the 1st round as a QB doesn’t mean you have the talent to be successful in the NFL, it just means you’re going to be given an opportunity that a mid round or later QB could play for years and never get unless it’s an injury.

The greatest QB in NFL history would’ve never became a starter in NE or anywhere else if Bledsoe ain’t get ki1led.

You can’t justify not playing a first overall or top 10 pick for a year. First round picks are meant to play right away

Na. They need to sit period. It helps them learn the playbook among many other things. If you wan to invest in your first round QB, let him sit for a year.
