NWA brought wide spread use of the N-word and the attitude of being a n1gga (loud, rambunctious, unapologetic) to the youth.

Black people have been calling each other n-word forever, but it didn't hit children like that until NWA. And, I am personally guilty of using the word crazy in my youth.

I recently told my 25 year old brother that, there was a time when no one used curse words in songs. It was unheard of. He looked at me in disbelief.

Typical NY hater but them and other East Coast people love to get technical by saying Schoolly D was the one who started gangsta rap. Even Ice-T who they claim is from New Jersey who came after.

So blame them right?

No, it's always NWA and the West Coast who ruined Rap.

These guys love to claim the holier than thou image and meanwhile were rapping the same way while calling it the "Golden Era" and "East Coast Renaissance".

Spare me with Hip Hop being about peace, love, and intelligence beforehand. One of the founders was a child m0lester and all of those guys like KRS-One were protecting his image for the sake of "Hip Hop values"...smh.

The black community was fu#ked as soon as crack touched down. NWA wouldn't have that sh1t to rap about or have that attitude if it didn't already exist in the streets.

NWA with the exception of Eazy E wasn't STREET

they were studio gangsters

It was plenty of other subjects to rap about in the black community

Sports..black love... consciousness...humor..dancing

This was the late 80s..it was NOI temples in every black community along with conscious movements and families living middle cla$s

They could have balanced it out like Krs One...Brand Nubian ..King Tee..Run DMC and others have done

But no

NWA WAS NON CONCEPTUAL

NON INTELLECTUAL

EVERYTHING THEY RAP ABOUT WAS CRIME RELATED OR s3xUAL

Exactly. NWA got popular with the suburban kids that was rebellious against their parents and it was a perfect soundtrack and something new to them when we been knew about this through comedy albums and James Brown from the big payback album
