No, I get that. What I’m saying is his immediate goal is the Heisman that’s why he’s willing to play 80-100 snaps or whatever in what appeared initially to be a meaningless game against Colorado State instead of picking & choosing when he needs to do double duty.
Because he has a high likelihood of injury being a starter on both offense & defense, they asked Prime about that after the TCU game whether it even makes sense to play him THAT much risking his health before the bulk of their schedule coming up in actual important games. It was like 90 degrees on the field and he played over 100 snaps week 1, and that’s not taking into account the altitude that he has to deal with in home games now.
Every football player who has spoke on it says it’s risky to play THAT much every game and it took 2 1/2 games before something bad happened from that exposure.
