I don't think you got that right homie. Phones aren't allowed to be locked in Canada

My biggest thing with them is there update speeds and developer community. Ability to quickly update and root phone with AOSP mods is really all I'm looking for in a new phone, which is why I'm typing this on a pixel 7 pro

I loved my Sony phones but he’s right. Then that damn battery does some weird sh1t and you go from a whole day to like 4-6 hrs

SIM locking was ultimately banned in Canada on December 1, 2017 as part of amendments to the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission's Wireless Code. All new devices in Canada must be sold unlocked, and carriers must offer to unlock existing phones free-of-charge.

Woah really? I feel like every phone out is well over 500-600 at least at a minimum. Obviously iPhones are well over a $1000. what do you use?

I had a Sony phone once back in 2014...Build Quality was Super Trash...By 2016,The phone Plastic was already falling off with layers exposed....

Sucks they run on Android OS. If they had their own OS that was secure be a different story.

Well they can't, I could buy it outright but I don't wanna pay $2g outta pocket. Rather get it on contract etc. Only place to get it without buying direct is bell

I know but what I mean is buying it outright to bring to Telus vs contract where bell will give it to you for like 500+ and pay monthly for it.

I'm in Telus, they don't sell the phone so I'd have to buy direct for like 2000
