"Originally released in 1990, the Air Jordan 5 was the third consecutive Michael Jordan sneaker designed by Tinker Hatfield inspired by a World War 2 Mustang fighter jet. For 2023, Jordan Brand will be introducing a brand new Air Jordan 5 “Midnight Navy” colorway heading into the holiday season.

Dressed in a Midnight Navy, Black, and Football Grey color scheme. This offering of the Air Jordan 5 features a Midnight Navy suede upper reminiscent of the “Fear” Jordan 5 with Black eyelets and inner lining. Other details includes Jumpman logos on the tongues and heels, signature tr@nslucent side netting and branded lace locks. A White midsole with speckled shark teeth overlays atop an icy tr@nslucent outsole completes the design. The sh0e will also come housed in special packaging and will be available in men’s, grade school, preschool, and toddler sizing.

Air Jordan 5 Midnight Navy Release Date

Look for the Air Jordan 5 “Midnight Navy” to release on November 10th at select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike.comm. The retail price tag is set at $210 USD.

UPDATE 6/3: Here is a first look at the Air Jordan 5 “Midnight Navy” via kicksdong. The sh0e was originally thought to be a “Georgetown” release, but it appears to have no resemblance to the school. However, the build does give off “Fear” Jordan 5 vibes. A release is expected November 10th in family sizing.
