This was obvious. Years ago Skip was shunning podcasts and social media until he seen what it did for Sharpe.

Was sounding like a obvious hater earlier this year too with how much he'd bring up Shannon being on Twitter. Then Skip made that dry a$s corny podcast where he's just doing the same sh1t without a cohost to talk to.

Skip is the only person I seen on sports talk TV that'll repeat the same script day in and day out when certain subjects come up. Dude got no flavor, be giving his bland a$s points with no remixing it or anything. They need some new blood in there anyway, dude on air ki1ling time trying to just be in a spotlight more than his cohost.

Working with Skip has gave him more opportunities for sure, but the man was already a known public figure. Even Stephen A was kinda famous before joining Skip on First Take, he had his own TV show on ESPN.

How many of y’all stayed at an employer for 7 years without a promotion. Been time to move on

That's a disingenuous way to say it. SAS was already a huge name and Shannon Sharpe was already a hall of famer. Shannon didn't have any other avenue in media to be on display before that but to say Skip made him a star is insane
