Dido.. The Great Recession. It forced people to focus on savings and cost cutting. Walmart was ki1ling mom and pops stores all over the country. Why was the underdog ? Dollar stores. Absolutely flourished as a counter to the corporate giant. Small businesses with brick and mortar fronts usually fold. I’ve seen spots go from barber shops to donut shops to tire shops. The ways of the world continue..
