my bad i meant to prop...I'm moving to Guyana, i got my land and my business starting over there this year early next year.

Yea he’s right. I have a decent job and putting together this side business. I use to be able to pay everything, new cars always, do whatever I wanted, keep my son fresh, healthy and borderline spoiled, I grew with nothing. I’m almost living check to check at this point and I really do make decent money, it used to be considered good money. Decent money doesn’t go far these days

The Caribbean but you know they own everything from real estate /hotels to all of the shops the cruise ships visit. Guyana is on the come up but they control that oil

Yeah I have a very good job and make good money, but the cost of a good apartment is so much, add a little bit of a social life to that (eating out, drinks, etc) - not much left over to save. Grocery store alone doing serious damage unless you buy all the cheap cheap cheap sh*t.

America is a great place to visit but living there does a number on your mental and physical health. Especially as a Black person.

They get food stamps. Some people get SSI. Welfare. Medicaid. It eases the pain. sh*t was lowkey easier when I wasn't making much money. I didn't have much for anything extra as a responsible parent. But food was always kept in the house easily. My son was getting SSI on top of me working. Once I crossed that 60K a year threshold....any type of a*sistance I had was snatched! Lol. I had to get familiar with payday loans in tight squeezes.

This is sad but straight Fax. I work at a company where we help people with loans, debt settlement, debt management and a few other things. And every single day I get calls from people making 150+ thousand a year, yet needing a 5k loan to move, or home improvement, or car repair. It’s crazy. One of the main problems I think most ppl have is just living Above your means, you maybe can afford the 60k car but drive the 10k one instead, be smart with your money.

Get ya money up

I moved my azz to Mexico with my fiance because living in Toronto feels like it's 500% more expensive than it was 10-15 years ago. The rate of inflation is artificial. When they say it's up 8%, it's often 500% for certain items. Housing doubled, eggs and meat are 5x... gas, you name it. The war in Ukraine coupled with the aftereffects of Covid truly CRUSHED the middle class. Only way to level up again is to leave and wait for sh*t to cool down in the future. Thank god I'm self employed and don't rely on Boss to tell me to get back to the office again.
