during that match. As Kobe and Michael played different positions during the game and season. Kobe played SG and Jordan was a SF. Michael Jordan defended Kobe only on 7 possessions that night. 3 of the 7 possessions were truly 1 on 1 situations.

On the first possession (1st Quarter, 5mins and 3 seconds remaining), Shaq tried to pass the ball to Kobe Bryant but Michael Jordan intercepted the pass and got the steal. On the second possession (1st Quarter, 4mins and 46 seconds remaining), Kobe brought up the ball from midcourt and he passed on the ball as he closed in on Jordan waiting on the 3 point line. Eventually leading to a score from Shaq.

After the seventh possession is where the giggles happen.

They actually didn't "Cracking & Chucking It Up Throughout Game" as you mentioned. But they only giggled once during the game, and only when the ball was not in play. As it happened right after the offensive foul from Kobe on Michael as Michael fell down. The game was at that point paused. The reason they both laughed at that point was as Michael Jordan was on the ground laying down he was quoted saying "Well, The whole f*****g building knew you weren't gonna pass." Kobe helps Jordan up and they laughed it off, the game is still dead at this point as the ball has not been brought into the game yet. As the ball got into play, both were back into serious 'game mode'.
