May 25 - South Carolina man arrested 4 what he had delivered to car dealership.

The Gastonia Police Department arrested Michael Kenneth Williams, 39, of Elgin, South Carolina, on Monday, according to a post on Facebook. Earlier that day, officers said they responded to the CarMax, at 1600 Remount Road, after a report of a possible drug violation. Officers spoke with a store manager who told them that during the early morning hours of the previous day, CarMax received a large box from California addressed to Williams. The manager indicated that Williams routinely receives packages addressed to him and that this particular package had an unusual odor, police said. Officers opened the box and found over three pounds of suspected marijuana inside. Officers said they seized the alleged marijuana, re-sealed the box, and waited for Williams to arrive at work to claim the package. At about 12:30 p.m., officers were notified that Williams was at work and had claimed the package. Officers said they saw Williams walking outside the business with the package. They stopped him, and asked if the box was his, and Williams said it was, according to police. Officers verified the identity of Williams and that his name was the same as the package’s intended recipient, police said. Williams was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver, officers said. He was to the Gaston County Jail, where he was released after posting a $10,000 bond, according to police. Officers said they saw Williams walking outside the business with the package.
