50 Cent Sells Over 500K Tickets In A Week To “Final Lap” Tour; Adds Extra Dates

Rap icon and business mogul 50 Cent has responded to overwhelming fan demand by announcing new tour dates for his highly-anticipated Final Lap Tour. The multi-talented artist revealed additional shows across North America and Europe, treating fans to more opportunities to witness his final performances.

On May 23, 50 Cent took to his Instagram and revealed additional shows across North America and Europe. The new North American tour dates include stops in Montreal (August 1), Brooklyn (August 10), Baltimore (September 19), Holmdel (September 20), and Toronto (September 22), extending the reach of his Final Lap Tour.

As for his European leg, 50 Cent added five new dates, including performances in Riga, Latvia (October 10), Dublin (November 7), Manchester (November 15), London (November 17), and Newcastle (November 18).

In his Instagram announcement, the “Candy Shop” rapper expressed his gratitude for the fan demand and revealed that pre-sales for the new dates would start on May 24, with general ticket sales beginning on May 26. The rapper also emphasized the significance of this tour, as it celebrates the 20th anniversary of his iconic album Get Rich or Die Tryin’ and features special guests Busta Rhymes and Jeremih.

“If we gonna do it, we gonna do it BIG! Due to Fan demand, I’m adding more dates to THE FINAL LAP TOUR celebrating GET RICH OR DIE TRYIN’ – 20 YEARS LATER with Busta Rhymes and Jeremih. Pre-Sales for New Shows Start May 24 – General On-sale Begins May 26 at 10AM Local Time*. Lock yours in at 50CENT.COM!”

Man 500,000k tickets is no joke!

What other older generation rappers could this size audience other than Jay or Yeezy ?

I'm not sure there's anyone unless Outkast got together to tour..

Honestly alot of these older rappers can do big numbers still over seas. Even if over here their popularity has died down over in Europe and other places they still love them.
People even older like Krs and sh*t still do pretty big shows over seas all the time

Only the U.S. likes that low IQ mumble rap bullsh*t. Outside of the US people still appreciate real hip hop. Wu Tang can easily sell out a stadium in China.

Why exactly are people in here sucking off Europe? The article is about selling well in the U.S. too! And adding shows in the U.S.also!

It would have been cool if 50 pulled a Prince and bundled in a new album with the tickets...not just to give the fans new music but also to sell a lot.

I heard that billboard (or was it RIAA?) changed the rules where sales don't count that way anymore.

I remember 50 himself saying he's the biggest artist internationally (even bigger than Marshall)

I remember 10 years ago after Control and Charlamagne said that the only NY artists that can do a show in NY and get a bigger audience than Kendrick were Jay and Nas. I wonder what type of numbers 50 can do.

Out of this entire thread there are like 2 reply comments talking about that.

As a Californian who's never left the continent I will say I have heard from artists, djs and others that rappers that have cooled down over here get treated with A LOT of respect over there comparatively and some of those nations have a currency to the point it's worth more to go over there. 50's last tour had many dates over there.

Billboard k*lled it

Billboard counts and tracks, RIAA issues sales certification and functions as a goon squad, like the Teamsters, for writers and musician rights
