Fines for flopping

If theyre not stopping the games and getting the right call then theres no point

And part of this sh*t needs to include players on jumpshots kicking their feet all sorts of ways the create contact.. is that not considered flopping? Either falling on the floor on a nothingburger or trying to make it seem like the defender invaded landing space?

Players flop because it’s rewarded… Starts with officiating, they should be held accountable for calling it as much as players doing it

Its very hard to officiate NBA. In the heat of the game with limited angles it's hard to tell who is exaggerating or not. And making the call is even tougher

Also, the techs for flopping will only really be if its egregious. Players exaggerating probably won't be teched

It's not difficult... If you don't see it... Don't call it... Stop calling calls just because you see a players reaction

Refs will literally call a foul if a player fails even if they don't see contact...

As for the tech... I would say any player who flails their arms, head or legs...

Automatic tech... That's not a natural motion... It should be treated no different than other unnatural motions that get penalized

This is really just for Marcus Smart.

Smart is 6’4 230 lbs but he will throw his body around like he Rey Mysterio or Jeff Hardy to draw a foul on you. He will get under you to make you pick up a foul for naturally falling on him. n*gga is meant for pro wrestling. He is the greatest player I’ve ever seen at taking a bump and selling it.

If this rule gets passed it will slowly disappear by midseason just like the flopping fines did.

Its not that simple. But I hear you.

There's only a couple refs on the floor. A ton of fouls will not get called if the refs need a complete unobstructed view of the foul. Also, players will just position themselves better so their fouls can't be viewed as easy.

Probably the best solution is more refs on the court maybe

Sometimes its damn near impossible to tell in real time. They would likely have to review almost every flop which would slow the game down more

But if they're gonna review calls id rather it be flops then all the other calls they review, with the exception of checking to see if a player got a shot off in time

The only way to enforce will be to stop the game and review. In real time u not catching no floppers. This sh*t won't work ..
