I wasnt on just the tourist path, just at the mall. My n*ggas & I were out roaming. No worries, granted we were in the military. But they didnt know that, it's def a money talks place & when I went the USD went along way.
Everytime was an amazing trip, its an global adult playground.
sh*t they were looking at the white boys I was with, with some distain, like I said we were chilling everywhere.

Saudi has BLACK Saudis and no slave workers just in plain sight.. At least in major cities. In the Emirates the Emiratis won't even acknowledge your existence unless it benefits them.

Im Saudi stragners invite you to their home off the street. In the Emirates they will cut you in line and not even make eye contact. Those are personal experiences btw not anecdotes or he said she said.

Edit: To be clear fucc the Emirates, Saudi, and the US. I’ve yet to hear of a country that isn’t corrupt with the blood of countless lives on their hands. I’m just stating that the Emirates is even more racist than the US.

But there is economic opportunity there. When someone moves to Dubai they gain opportunity and lose freedom. They pay you more than you can make at home and take some of your freedoms away. But for poor people they take LITERALLY ALL OF THEIR FREEDOMS AWAY.

Think of it like this. A U.S. citizen living in Dubai is basically under felony probation. You have NO due process under the law whatsoever. Whatever they say you did, you did it basically.

Someone from a poor African or Asian country is basically living in prison on 23 hour lockdown. They work 10-16 hours a day 6-7 days a week. Period. They have no access to their passport so if they want to go home they can’t. If their child gets sick too bad. If their husband dies too bad. The Indian construction workers live in tents in the middle of the desert like that movie Holes with Shia Lebouf.

But I have also met African guys with decent jobs. They just can't get the same jobs we can.

So in short it's one of the most racist countries but every country is racist to an extent. So yes I would still recommend going.
