Props OP. I been posting African properties on here for years. I told y'all when I get my money together I'm moving to Rwanda and that's still within my 10 year plan. I already spoke to a realtor over there.

And just to give y'all an idea, new construction of that caliber in Miami Beach would run you at least $2.5M.

Been there before, it's one of the fastest growing economies in Africa.
I stayed in a nice mansion out there, pretty safe country & those are like modern townhomes the big boy houses out there are a bit more but are pointless to buy because people don't be renting them

Can civilians own guns over there? African countries freak me out because it seems like a simple leadership change could lead to a place like this suddenly turning into a war zone. Thats coming from an ignorant American though. I don't really know how safe it is over there in the longer term or what kind of protections the people have from the government or surrounding countries.

Citizens can apply for licenses to possess guns there, Probably won’t need one…

Just stay out the government’s way.

Just buy a house here and sit on it for a few years. If you buy in an upcoming or brand new area it will make money for you. It doesn’t have to be massive or compete with other people.

Bought my first house in 13 for 129, sold in for 300, bought next house at $350 in 19” it’s worth 608 now. So in 10 years I have a little over 400k I can make just by selling for what my neighbors just bought for.

For 200k you can buy the same in clewiston fl, with a bigger backyard and unlike some of those countries they don't have issues with the power grid

Ain't nobody forgot. The fact of the matter is they have strong leadership and people move on. There are several memorials in the country. The most important thing is unity as a people and as a country. This is something Black Americans could never do which is why despite slavery having been abolished almost 150 years ago, we're no further along or better as a people. We can't just move on and unite as one, we're committing slow genocide in these streets more effectively than the slave masters and klansmen. We have rappers intentionally putting out murder and RICO music for a check. What are you talking about??

Moving on would require the government to rectify what it has done and to stop the laws they have in place to prevent you from moving on as a whole. We still have
-Laws from the fu*king 1800s on the books specifically meant for black folks
-Real Estate getting under appraised *Huge part of wealth in this country
-Loan discrimination *Current multi billion dollar lawsuits
-Lack of funding for businesses
-over policed areas
-being under paid by corporations despite equal or better qualifications
-IRS just admitted we get audited more
and a host of other sh*t.

But lets pull ourselves up by the bootstraps right? Sure, there's your Lebrons and Jay Z's and upper middle class folks like me, but lets not diminish the fact that its much harder for us and in most cases impossible.

Haven’t been to Rwanda, but I’ve been other places in Africa. Bamako was one of the most fun places I’ve ever been, and I traveled a lot in my life. Political volatility is definitely a concern in many African nations, unfortunately, but aside from that they have some great places.
