Takes more than food bruh. Ever since hospitals been privatized, it's been an explosion in the homeless population. Any person who needs help have to help themselves first, acknowledge that they have a problem and be the change that they want. There's 3 types of homeless people: You have the mentally ill ones who don't have a family to assist them nor the proper medication to function, the ones who chooses their vices (drugs, alcohol, etc.) over everything while bringing in a companion in their world to complicate situations even further and lastly the nomads. The nomads are the worst ones because they manipulate the previous 2 into doing whatever he/she pleases while not being bothered by making $40 bucks a day being off the grid. They're the ones who migrate from city to city convincing others to come along with them not for a better opportunity but to be protected every step of the way. My uncle was under the bridge on Claiborne in New Orleans this past Saturday morning to feed the homeless and was greeted by pitbulls, actual full blooded pitbulls. I get it that having a dog while begging for change avoids a soliciting charge but every person he gave a plate to had a pitbull and sectioned themselves off claiming they don't fu#k with those other homeless folks under the calliope side of the i-10 bridge like how the projects used to be back in the day

It's starting to get real bad in the quarters though. They just shoot up and get high on the sidewalk, pull out and p1ss on the ground right in front of children and tourists and in some cases the homeless try to fight the tourists. Rule of thumb in the French quarters is that you never fight or smoke w/ a homeless person there because you can get infections (HIV, Hepatitis, Staph) by cuts, scratches and bruises. It's a no win situation scrapping with a homeless person

They need to bring back Asylums and mental health places. They shut alot of them down because of misconduct back then..but alot of these homeless are strung out drug addicts with mental health issues.. more of these facilities would help.. some

Really? Is this new? The guy Joshua Tree who went viral a few yrs ago did his in California. He has like 6 million views on Youtube. According to him you can, you just have to have documentation proving what was in it. But that was like 4 yrs ago.
