Markus and Feely are they guys who wrote most of the movies the Russo Bros did- they werent comic fans but the Russos are. I think if the writer is not a fan- the director HAS TO BE Coogler is also a comic book fan-so I think there is something there

He didn't say he didn't want Marvel fans. He said he didn't want a writer who loves it so much that they can't be "hard" or critical of the source material. So, a Marvel fan can definitely be a writer, but they have to come with criticism. He presented the duo as ideal because of them not growing up as Marvel readers, but he made sure to be clear and mention that someone who knows the source material can recognize that one to one translation is not the best version of a film on the Belloni Podcast. It can go either way.

The 1st Phase of the MCU was a collaborative effort. - They would bring in TV writers - Have a film writer add elements - A comic writer would sprinkle his take on some treatments or even be the basis of the story It was a whole process that they were given time to do. What I didn't know was that Straczynski's 07/09 run of Thor had elements that Stan Lee already wanted to get off. He is the one that came up with the idea to have Thor down of Earth of course to humanize him. Didn't know Stan been wanted to execute that.

Guys like Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are the EXACT types that you want for adapting comic book stories to the big screen. Period. You should've read the script for Deadpool, man. There was so much brilliant stuff that got cut. When the script leaked online I had read literally just about every single Deadpool comic book appearance there was up to that point and I kept saying to myself how there were so many gems in the script that only a seriously talented comic book writer could come up with or someone who truly, really, really, REALLY loves and respects the character. Nowadays I kinda only really get that vibe from the gawds, top Dons, Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni when it comes to Star Wars.

Not being a fan of the comics is why most of the directors and producers don't even care about the story and make up some outlandish shyt that's bizarre even for kids humor. They want the fans to know that they don't respect them and think that their too old to care about these characters. It's been proven by how the shows are written. Again your quote is d*ck riding a phukbwoi cause u think he sounded intelligent. What's wild is he immediately hired women and men who don't know shyt about the characters and to meet their dumb af POC quota. Use a quote with context. Thor was never written in any comic how he was in the movies. Go down the list, and every movie was a sprinkled in ingredients of random recipes that don't go together at all
Most of the decisions were made from people who didn't have a clue to the scope of what Marvel is as a universe. Every single Phase 1 movie was independent of the other. Making them more entertaining movies. Nut with no continuity And now the room is full of idiots who didn't take the time to read comics. Piggy backed off other people who read the stories. Felt a sort of way about that like bi*chmade people. Now that comics hit an all time high with popularity, you would think half these slimey shyt people should buy more comics to understand the damn stories, but instead they decided to troll social media and lurk debates about how a character is being portrayed horribly They can't even tell a story about humans evolving gaining powers like the Xmen. Sony milking Spiderman with the dumbest shyt but it's entertaining enough for casuals. Last edited by CosmicVonDoom; 04-01-2023 at 02:50 AM.. |

Slowing down the machine because their plans to gip and lie to the audience wasn't working. (This is where u type that dumb shyt : "Disney is winning and your a hater") Movies that were slated to be released were pushed back with finished scripts. Actors were signing on for checks, knowing the stories would be targeted to race/s*xual-indentity instead of a collection of stories that either intertwined or didn't. Not that damn hard to process at all In some articles the actors admit to not knowing what parts of the script will make the final cut. MSheU Phases 3 and 4 have been hit the hardest. Every movie had resorts that cost them at least 100 Million every clip. Again this is the part where the chicken heads keep typing that Disney is winning. There's no receipts, actors quiting and turning down multiple requests. Competitive app services making bank on Disney head top. But here we are and fools still lying about nothing. Smfh

You're saying - there are no comic fans making the films I'm saying - there are tons of comic writers working on it since Iron Man in 08 1 - You're equating my correction to being in agreement when I never had a stance. 2 - 90% of the MCU films are a mix of TV writing, comic writing, and film treatment. Perfect example - The idea of Thor being among humans in the 1st film was Straczynski's idea. He's been writing for DC since the 80s and for Marvel through the 00s. He wrote for Thor vol 3 and that is why he was brought in to rewrite elements. His idea was to place Thor in Oklahoma in his comic run and he worked over Miller and Stentz (TV writing duo) draft.
