This trade was made in hoping Luka Kyrie duo would make a run in the postseason, which in turn persuades Kyrie to stay with Dallas

I actually have nothing against Dallas. As a Kyrie fan, and formerly a Kobe fan, I just root for wherever my favorite player's play.

That being said, I wanted it to work out, but this team isn't going anywhere.

All of the Mavs players are going out of their way to say Kyrie is the consummate teammate.

Which you can see in their play when it's just him and no Luka, it's a whole different tram.

I knew there was an issue before Kyrie got there when Kidd said "it's still Lukas team" I know as a coach and former point guard he's frustrated with how much Luka holds the ball as if he isn't going to pass u less it results in an a*sist. We don't know what the team meeting was about but I bet tempo was a topic.
