Draymond is the backbone of that team. It be thoroughly amazing to see how many fans think Draymond is “holding the Warriors back” and Curry/Kerr got multiple championships still left in them doing it without Dray & his antics. He sets the tone on the floor and off the floor. Curry, Klay, Wiggins, Poole, etc none of these guys are THAT guy. Dray is RZA & ODB rolled into one. Got nothing to do with talent, it’s the presence among the group.

Yeah it’s not gonna work on another team cause Draymond has been there for 10+ years, he has his fingerprints on everything they doing there and the locker room backs the stuff he does because of it. He goes to any other team and he’s not going to be able to take over like that, players/coaches are going to challenge him when he becomes demonstrative. I don’t think he’s going anywhere either for that reason.

I thought it was the media pushing the Draymond narrative of not being needed anymore. Especially since he pushing the new media agenda to get these non player clowns outta here that disrespect players for views

He was right. It wasn’t a charge. Duke was on the line. But he can’t just talk crazy to people either. Draymond has to grow up. But maybe that sh*t in him is tethered to what gets him and the team going. That’s why they tolerate it. Ask me again when I’m the GM and got a team making me 8 million a year. My answer might be different.

There's almost a Draymond on every team he'd still be a starter. Kyle Anderson, Dillon Brooks, Aaron Gordon is a athletic draymond(or midget version Bruce Brown), Harry Barnes better shooter worse defender/playmaker, Torrey Craig, Batum/Morris, Herb Jones, Lu Dort/Kenrich Williams, Jevon Carter, Marcus Smart, PJ Tucker, Quentin Grimes/Hart, DFS, John Collins, Pat Williams and thats just most of the playoff teams alone. He would be successful league wide.

Draymond is the absolute heart & soul of that team. Steph and Klay speak with their play. Draymond is an extension of their winning culture. Y'all see antics I see Kerr's approval. Dray says and does all the stuff Kerr wants to but can't.

Probably but they won't play that role because it's thankless. Not too many people have the clout to even do what Dray does as far as being the vocal leader, making high IQ plays, and keeping everyone in check while being an undersized big that can defend on the perimeter and post.

I'm a fan of the NBA first then the Lakers. I love watching games from a technical standpoint not as a casual. Antics aside Draymond is one of the most underrated players in the league.

He's a coach on the floor, a leader in the locker room, and the team's biggest cheerleader. He's mister triple single but his best attributes are his intangibles.
