No sh*t. The general public doesn't want to watch a bunch of nobodies. The level of play has been pretty terrible as well. Half of the teams struggle to score 20 points a game and even worse.
The problem with the XFL is trying to be too big too soon. That was the problem with the original XFL. They spent so much money that they needed big ratings to stay alive. The company should be ran with the expectations that they are only going to get a few hundred thousand people watching and that's enough for there to be a profit. The XFL or any other football league is never going to be able to compete with the NFL. Same goes for any of the other major sport. |

Also people not happy with Rock ruining the DC franchise or at least be a part of its demise and you know how petty people are when it comes to their attention & money.
But yeah they should have kept the games short. Just do a 3 team round robin and then right into the playoffs. Get this whole entire league over with in 6 weeks |

It boils down to no one wanna watch a full season QB4-5 level talent throw to WR7-10s ![]() The NFL don’t even have 32 competent starters playing QB and we supposed to believe ppl are watching practice squads play each other ![]()

ngl watching the xfl, and the AAF made me realize i might not like football that much.
outside of the NFL i don't really watch college football. The closest thing to lower level football i watch is the 1v1 youtube vids deestorying be posting on youtube. I've been a fan of the nfl for a few years but the thought of watching a weaker league just seems boring. oddly enough i can do it with soccer though. Like on saturdays i can walk up early to watch manchester united and than later that day i can watch la galaxy face off against a random MLS team. I mainly started watching MLS only cause i want to see soccer grow in america. Its been a dope experience tbh. The MLS is barely a top 10 league worldwide but is still enjoyable to watch. Theres a lot of guys from europe and south america that have played in major leagues currently in the mls. its pretty competitive and fun to watch.plus financially the mls got enough money to pick up good players across south america. I feel like the football world needs this tbh. We only have one major football league and the athletes that are barely good enough to make it too the nfl are pretty much stuck jobless. We also got a decent amount of players that do make it to the league but rarely ever get solid playtime. They just collect weak paychecks and CTE while playing on the practice squads and the occasional special teams unit. A lot of these guys also have the same skillsets as active starters on the team but rarely get opportunities to show case their skills. Tee higgins, chase claypool, allen lazard, and kenny golladay aren't the only big n*ggas that can moss people. Theirs usually a bunch of n*ggas with that same skillset getting drafted in the late rounds every year. Last edited by StaticShock; 03-28-2023 at 06:02 PM..

There is a reason why players get paid lots of money. Especially star players. They bring the fans to the stadiums and TV sets. Its why we hate Load Management. We want to see the stars play against each other. Nobody is bigger than the game but the game cannot survive without stars. Its why we spend so much money on marketing and publicist. Its why ESPN talks about Lebron every hour.

Didn't know this crap was on. Don't know a single player/coach. Only know The Rock is owns it. Trying to compete with the nfl is stupid. Is like MLB/NBA/NHL have another competition in the U.S. They should've done it overseas or latin america. The XFL failed once, what were they thinking it would work again.

It's still to cold to go see a game in person (DC) and not enough names for me to watch on tv.

This is never gunna work imo. You got other sports heading into the playoffs and not enough big names. If they had nfl names playing it would peek my interest but it feels like a summer league a summer g league at that.
