Okay here’s an explanation of the “The Impossible Task”. John was a hitman for
Viggo Tarasov(first John Wick film). It seemed like a good fit for him until he met Helen (his wife who died) he then fell in love and he wanted to get out the game but Viggo would not let him quit unless he eliminated all his enemies I mean EVERY enemy to ensure there would be no regroup or retaliation and he had to do all of this in one night. So that’s when John enlisted help from D’Antonio. That’s why we see D’Antonio in the second film because he came to collect on the debt John owed him from helping with the impossible task. But as we know it was a temporary victory. That made the Impossible Task all the more tragic, as it only ensured John's happiness for a brief time. Helen would have died anyway, making John's civilian retirement a fleeting peace. It also meant that Santino would eventually come to collect his debt, forcing John into a series of events that made him possibly the most wanted man on Earth.

There’s gonna be at least three different shows. Like law and order but billions.

This is the last season so I’m sure we’ll figure out who’s going on what show by the end of season 7.

I don't think he's going to be in it. At least not at first. John is not needed since the premise of what The Continental is has already been laid out in the movies. They can focus on other a*sassins that use the hotel
