Kendrick Lamar is in the process of making a film with South Park co-creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker, and new details have finally been announced although the potential release date still remains elusive.

Deadline first announced the film last January, which will see Kendrick entering the movie industry by co-producing an upcoming live-action-comedy film for Paramount Pictures alongside Stone, Parker, and his creative partner and former manager Dave Free.

The film, which is still untitled, will focus on a young Black man interning as a slave reenactor at a living history museum in which he discovers his white girlfriend’s ancestors once owned. The film will now be directed by Parker, and Parker and Stone will also produce the film under their Park County banner, while Free and Lamar will produce via pgLang.

The untitled Paramount film will serve as pgLang’s first and will hopefully begin shooting sometime this year. Filming was supposed to begin last spring but the South Park creators’ schedules reportedly got in the way.

South Park lowkey needs to fall back for a minute,every show has not so good seasons but South Park has been bombING byke to byke for years now.I don't know if it's because all the episodes are related now making them too drawn out and long now(maybe South Park is just good for sequel/trilogies at best) or what but once the PC Principle was introduced sh*t started to become a*s and now it's try hard(like it's a satire version of itself).
